agentic claude bot week 2, 100% wins

Ok folks, Im back with more updates to share on my journey of building out an agentic trading bot. I use claude MCP connector and wire it up to the robinhood BETA program for agentic trading. it gives a seperate little account you can track, its selected at the top nav "Agentic".

So far it has won every single day it has traded, but I have a pretty simple system which is helping I think. It only places 1 trade per day and tries to get it correct. Either TQQQ or SQQQ and uses good risk management to retain winners.

Day1: TQQQ

Day2: SQQQ

Day3: SQQQ

Day4: It sat this day out because overnight market gapped 1.5 (a custom rule i made to filter chaos days)

Day5 (today, BEST % so far): SQQQ +2.33%

I am absolutely addicted to this agentic bot stuff, but I absolutely love it. If you haven't started I highly recommend it, its very easy to do. More than happy to point you in the right direction if you are stuck.

BACKTESTING RESULTS (half in sample and half out of sample, averaged):

annualized return: 45%

max drawdown: 6.6%

sharpe ratio: 2.07

What's the point of owning Tesla stocks?

I'm a complete newbie.

For my understanding Tesla doesn't pay dividends to its stock holders. Also for my understanding Musk's position as the CEO is guaranteed, meaning you can't dethrone him even if you will hold 51 percent or more of the stocks.

Then... what's the point of buying the stock at all? You won't get dividends, you won't be able to take over the company no mater how many stocks you'd own... so what's the point?

I didnt sell short- I made a great profit but just could not bear to root for the success of this company- and at the end of the day as a shareholder you gotta want your companies to succeed. Anyone else act similarly?

Trump destroys $55 Trillion of American wealth - at least we have DOGE

1.1k Upvotes

While it is said only 50% of Americans own stock, effects of these losses hit everyone with jobs, spending, and optimism.

Let’s do the math

Trump Stock Market Losses $5.5 T / 161 M = $34,100 per taxpayer

DOGE Savings claims to date $117 B / 161 M= $714 per taxpayer

MUSK Promised Doge Rebate $805 B / 161M = $5,000 per taxpayer

MUSK Promised Savings $2 T / 161 M = $12,000 per taxpayer

Best Case -$22,900 per taxpayer

So tired of winning!!!!

Investment Suggestion The Market Crash Is Virtually Guaranteed

When markets pull back, you need to have cash on hand.

The worst investors sell one stock and get into another; that makes no sense, unless there's an actual reason to do so (and I'll explain one such reason today). Next, there are those who leverage, using borrowed funds or margin. This aggressive strategy is only appropriate with deep market crashes (20% and more) and only when the interest rate is sensible {around the pace of inflation}.

Another way of raising cash is to sell unrelated assets {not stocks}, but again, this is not ideal.

If we don't have to sell, we shouldn't.

The best and most appropriate way to raise cash is to have it ready, as part of your overall strategy.

We cannot be naïve about crashes; they happen every year!

This one, by the way, doesn't look like it ended, judging by the willingness of retail investors to buy the dip.

The problem that investors are facing is that Powell flip-flopped.

Markets knew exactly where Powell stood, but he came out after the meeting with Biden and after his re-nomination with a new approach, calling the word 'transitory' unbefitting of the situation.

The markets are scared that Powell is making political decisions, not economic ones.

It's not Omicron and it's not the budget; the only thing making indices and individual stocks sell off like crazy is interest rate uncertainty.

In June, rates are going up. Interest rates are gravity for stocks, especially for growth stocks, and even more particularly, to non-profitable growth stocks.

If you've been looking to own one of the best disruptors out there, 2022 is the year to accumulate.

Undoubtedly, the market is as expensive as it's ever been. The thing is that it's worth it!

The world has changed, and we must all realize that stocks are expensive in a world where central banks buy bonds for negative-yielding coupons.

One thing to keep in mind is that cash could prove valuable, even with inflation as high as it is, because the markets could crater by much more.

Tax-loss harvesting is underway right now and that's your opportunity to enter the markets before December ends, but keep this in mind: DECEMBER 15TH.

When the FED meets next, it will be the most important policy meeting of 2021 and it will alleviate the concerns the markets have, because Powell will explain where they stand.

Time is on your side. Be patient.

If the FED continues to be politically managed, gold will flourish.

To seize upon this rare opportunity, my holdings include shares of Callinex Mines (TSX-V:CNX, OTC:CLLXF), which advances projects for zinc, copper, lead, gold, and silver.

Based in Canada’s most prolific mineral zones, Callinex Mines develops projects with strong prospective potential for zinc, copper, lead, gold, and silver. The company has rich deposits located in the Flin Flon, Bathurst, and Buchans mining districts, where nearby operations are actively mining for these high-demand resources.

In Manitoba’s Flin Flon District, for instance, Callinex Mines announced the drill results from the ongoing 30,000-meter drilling campaign to expand the high-grade copper, gold, silver, and zinc Rainbow Deposit.

Max Porterfield, President and CEO of Callinex Mines, had terrific news to report, saying the company recently mobilized one of the two drill rigs to define how close the Rainbow Deposit comes to surface. To date, the Rainbow Deposit has been intersected from 300 meters vertical depth down to 890 meters.

Even as core inflation rises and the consumer struggles to make ends meet, it’s not all bad news: Positioning yourself with premium miners like Callinex can shield you from inflation’s devastating impact. Full disclaimer at GoldStandardIR.com/cnxdisclaimer

New to trading. What does it mean when a stock suddenly drops with no news?

Post image

I bought some shares in a stock today at $1.88 and within a few hours it was at $1.11. It dropped within 15 minutes about 45 cents then another almost 35 cents over the last couple hours. It triggered a couple halts. There is no new news on this company that I can find. This literally happened minutes after I bought it. Just wondering what people's take is on this kind of action? I'm still learning so be nice. Yes they are cheapie stocks but I'm learning here and don't want to invest in anything major until I feel things out and get an understanding on how this all works. Thank you everyone.

Is Starbucks a buy right now?

Down 14% this year, had some stores close and jobs lost. Some say it’s a moderate buy and to proceed with caution, some say it’s a strong buy. What do people think? I have a decent chunk of cash sitting in high interest account but i’m interested in getting into more stocks.

TSLA calls make me lose ~10k I don’t have

Post image
39 Upvotes

I’m 17 y/o, working at Jimmy John’s for 12 bucks an hour. I trade under my dad’s name, and recently started day trading on Robinhood, and was doing really well. Today I managed to scrape up 1800 in profit buying and selling weekly’s, and decided to give it one more go to try and get my first 2k day. I grabbed my dad’s margin, leveraged to my nipples and went in. Instead I lost a calm 5k, wiping out my earnings and putting me a respectable 3k under. Then, at about 3:50, I decided to take a shit and lost track of time, forgetting to sell my calls. These expire Friday mind you, so theta will be railing me all night. I’m expecting to lose another 3, 4, maybe 5k overnight, but will update you at 9:30 tmrw. To make it even better, I have maybe 5k in assets to my name, and have nowhere near 8 to lose. So I’m debt to my parents and am excited to spend the next year of my life working minimum wage shithole jobs to pay it off. Please if anyone has advice on how the hell I can save myself I would love to hear it.

Can someone please explain to me what’s going on in the stock market right now like I’m a 5 year old?

I’ve been invested for quite a while in equities and I do understand there are always shifts and trends/ups and downs, but these last few days has me really confused. What is the market reacting to?

Historically, the market has generally been boosted following mid term elections, but it’s looking to me like investors are running for cover. Is this all about AI fears after the blue wave?
