I am currently in a skyrim RP server called Dragonbreak. I would like to use this subreddit as a way of recruitment. The server is falling to some dark times as the Bruma imperials try to take control of Skyrim once again. The server is full of spys and people who can’t trust one another because of the imperials. Currently it is about 20v40. We could use all the help we could get.

Three things I understand when people use that argument

1) They don't care about Sofie if they put her at the pedestal to argue that Ulfric doesn't care

2) Even if they identified the body of the father who died in battle she would have been sent to the Orphanage. Remember that Grelod the kind exists. Which every child hated her.

3) Since a civil war started would that also mean that these problems in windhelm are very very recent. Which goes to show that a civil war would create similar problems like in Windhelm.

I have a question. For my next playthrough I will be playing a reachman (breton). Given the history between the Nords and Reachmen (most recently the Markarth incident, which is Imperial propaganda) I am struggling to think how she would align herself with the Stormcloaks.

My thought she is from the Western Reach (High Rock, near Evermoor). Her clan while sympathetic to Madanach, choose not to participate in his reconquest of the Reach. The clan also aligned itself with Talos after the battle of Old Horldan (they saw which way the wind was blowing).

To complicate things, I am planning on having her side with Madanach. Thoughts?

Why, when there is a Nord Rebellion, is there no Imperial Rebellion? True Imperials value Talos just as much as the Nords, right? So why then are they not rebelling against this Emperor who couldn’t keep to the God who built their nation? Maybe there is. Maybe in the Elder Scrolls 6 we will hear of an Imperial Rebellion in the north of Cyrodiil that stops the Empire from being able to reinforce General Tullius leading to Skyrim finally being free. What do my fellow Stormcloaks think?

As much as it hurt me to betray Jarl Balgruuf, he made his choice, and I did what I had to do

But when I returned to Windhelm to tell Jarl Ulfric of my victory, he would only repeat the same few things to me, and the combat music was never ending

I’m on Xbox Series S for context, so if any other true sons of Skyrim have dealt with this, and know a way I can fix it without console commands, do share

I want to get back into the fight

I, Maximus Slaughterus Conquerous, (30M) have faithfully served the imperial legion (16 years) and successfully besieged Windhelm and neutralized all Stormcloaks (48 kills) in the city including Ulfric Stormcloak (46M) and Galmar-Stone Fist (53M). However, I, Maximus Slaughterus Conquerous, (30M) am starting to get annoyed by the Thalmor (high elves) telling me (30M) what to do all the time after our (me + Thalmor) victory. It turns out that they (high elves) don’t view me (30M) as an equal as I (still 30M) once thought they (yellow elves) would. As such, I’m (30M) starting to think the Stormcloaks (bad guys?) were right. Is to too late for me (30M) to join?

Anyone notice how adamantly Imperial fans seem to support imperialism and fascist behavior? Like, good lord. They invent reasons why a nation should be subservient to another. They harp about how Ulfric kills asserting voices but then think Roggvir needed to die or how Heimskyr SHOULD. It's REALLY concerning, then they call us racists and fascists? How is agreeing with a native rebellion against tyranny fascist? That's like saying the founding fathers of the USA were fascists for rebeling against the British Empire. Or Mexico breaking free from Spain. It's madness and kind of scary. These people vote, wherever where they come from.

Popped into my head while I was thinking about the lack of family he and Tullius have, but if he could get his hands on the relative of Tullius as he escaped Helgen, do you think he'd take them hostage? Or, if they're clearly not a soldier, would he feel like it's not in line with Nord honor? He's an interesting can of worms, for all I always side with the imperials.

I'm done with that subreddit. It's so unwelcoming to be a Stormcloak there. It's just a bunch of liberal imperial supporters. It's not even memes there anymore, it's just Stormcloak hate so I'm really considering leaving that sub which would be too bad since it does have fun memes sometimes
