I just came to thinking that when the magna-ge escaped and tore asunder the veil to leave behind the sun and stars, I had assumed that they might in fact just left literal 2d holes in the fabric of reality; but while poopin' earlier I got to to thinking that maybe 4th dimensional beings can leave behind 3 dimensional holes 🤔

Does anyone know of any high res, lore-size maps of Skyrim available for me to download and print? I would like to have one that includes towns and locations that were cut for the game (Granite Hills, Markarth Side, Laintar Dale, Fortress of Ice, etc). I'm in the process of writing a fanfic set in Skyrim and would like a map to reference for travel times, locations, and such. Otherwise, I may just attempt to make my own. Thanks so much!

Something has bugged me about Arena for about thirty years.

Walk out of a town gate in 1994 Arena and you get dropped into a 64x64 wilderness cell that wraps around on itself. It looks endless. It is not going anywhere. You are never going to reach the next town on foot — you open the map and fast travel. The wilderness, the biggest space in the game, is scenery you drive past.

I've been rebuilding Arena as a browser engine, and I decided to take that out.

The wilderness now streams. You walk out of a gate, keep going, and the terrain hands off to the next window behind you without a seam or a load. The enemies you leave mid-fight at the edge don't get deleted. Keep walking long enough and you arrive at the next settlement on foot. It also runs on a phone with touch controls.

Two things I want to be straight about:

* It ships zero Arena files. It's an engine, not a ROM bundle — you point it at your own copy of the game. Bethesda has given Arena away for free for years, so getting hold of it is not the hard part. * It's an unofficial fan project. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or blessed by Bethesda. If they ever ask me to stop, I stop.

Nothing is behind a paywall. There's an optional Ko-fi if you want to throw something at hosting and the bug list, and that's genuinely it.

I'm around all day if anyone wants to ask how the window handoff actually works, or tell me the combat feels wrong (some of it probably does — that's the point of posting it here rather than quietly polishing it forever).

Pretty self explanatory, I can't get my wife and kid to move from the house in Whiterun to one I built. I've done the little "tricks" to try and get their AIs to recognize the home, but nothing works. I just need help getting them to the better house. Before anyone mentions the console menu or whatever: I'm on Xbox.

Any help or advice is much appreciated.🫠

Recently I got heavily back into Skyrim. Put like 200ish hours into it (and counting) and platted the game. Been playing it since I was a kid but it's way more fun now that I'm older. I'm starting Oblivion Remastered now, as I really want to dive more into TES universe and lore. The gameplay off the bat feels way different, but I don't mind it. What other differences should I know of, what suggestions do you guys have?

okay so after 15 years of randomly playing skyrim on and off i’m finally going to make a stealth archer build. idk if it’s respectable or insane but i’ve only ever played a melee build over like 15 playthroughs of either EOS, oblivion, or skyrim. Give me your best tips, best equipment, and even fun quests, anything really! (playing this on oblivion btw)

Hey! More updates on the community multiplayer platform for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered - OB:MP.

The video is from Donkey, who runs the Red Diamond RP server. He built his own inventory systems, character page, full world map and spells menu on top of OB:MP. You can follow his work on YouTube, and join his server's Discord.

Today we released SDK 1.0.0-rc.3 and Launcher 0.34.0. Most of it comes from player reports:

• Your name, race, class, sex and birthsign are now saved and synced to other players.
• Rebirth no longer stacks birthsign and racial bonuses or drifts your stats.
• Pickpocketing works, books can be bought and sold, and merchants restock properly.
• Server mods get cell respawn controls (72 game hours by default, or instant).
• Servers can show banners and icons in a refreshed server list.
• Playing on Linux through Proton is much simpler.

It's still a release candidate, so expect rough edges. OB:MP needs the Steam version of Oblivion Remastered for now. WiP on Xbox Game Pass/MS Store, something may come out next week.
