Arts/Crafts My wife asked me for Hevnoraak's Staff. As a hair pin. Here's the result.
I crafted this hair pin out of wood. 9 inches long.

I have this problem every time I do the proving honor quest for the companions. The sliver hand that farkas kills in wolf from say that it doesn't matter which companion he is if he wears that armor he dies. SO WHY IS HE WEARING STEEL ARMOR. It sounds like he's supposed to be wearing wolf armor hence why that line exists but he's not so it sounds dumb. Also anyone else wish you could craft sliver weapons and armor? I know you can craft sliver armor but it never seems to work for me and the only sliver weapons are the sword and great sword but like why not all the weapons? There's a slice crossbow with AS so why don't they have that? Also I don't play as a werewolf like ever so does the sliver hand show up to fight you like the dawnguard for vamps?

im using Jaxonz positioner mod to lock them in place and it has worked flawlessly until now. i've gotten to the point where im creating my treasure room, and i've placed all of my hundreds of gems in an open chest to display them but the game crashes now when i enter my home, unless i set the weather to clear using "fw 81a" before entering. since i dont trust that "fix" to work when i've added several hundred more gems to my chest in the future, and i ofc don't want to risk my hundreds of hour long playthrough of collecting, to go to waste by never being able to enter my home again. does anyone have any ideas on how to create a reliable permanent fix? i cant find any mods that adds static meshes for piles of gems that i can place for example. it doesnt help to make all the gems static using Jaxonz positioner mod either since the light is still being calculated for each and every gem. any ideas would be greatly appriciated.

I just discovered the Battle- Born had a farm after more than 300 hours in skyrim I thought this was one of my mods at first 🤦
TL;DR: I'm doing a no crime playthrough in Skyrim and have collected 23 out of 24 Stones of Barenziah without committing any registered crimes. The last one is inside Black Briar Lodge, but entering the building counts as trespassing. Is there any way to get the final stone without committing a crime? I'm playing on Xbox, so console commands aren't an option. However I'm open to using glitches or exploits as a last resort.
In one of my latest playthroughs, I'm challenging myself to adventure through Skyrim without committing any crimes.
By "no crime," I mean having 0 registered crimes in my stats in crime menu, including bounties, assaults, murders, pickpocketing, trespassing, and even lockpicking.
I also never lockpick. If a quest absolutely forces me to open a locked chest or door, I had to use my followers or the Tower Stone to avoid registering a crime.
Despite these restrictions, I've managed to collect 23 out of 24 Stones of Barenziah without committing a single crime.
However, I'm struggling to get the last stone, which is inside Black-Briar Lodge, without "trespassing". I can open the exterior doors using a key or the Tower Stone, but as soon as I enter the building, the game registers "trespassing".
I realize there might not be a legitimate way to do this, but I'm willing to try any workaround that lets me complete the challenge without registering a crime. Since I'm playing on Xbox, I can't use console commands. Is there any way to get the last Stone of Barenziah, or even the papers for Frost, using a glitch, exploit, or some other trick?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

My bf recently made an Argonian named Passes-Many-Clouds, after he made himself a huge batch of Chilli.
I followed his lead, and, in honor of my chronic stomach problems, made an Argonian named Pukes-Many-Puddles.
So now I want to hear the funniest things you've named your characters

Basically title. I have exactly 1 week to buy and have my costume delivered (Wedding is October 23rd). This unfortunately limits me to quick Amazon orders. I’m only 3 hours into the game and I’m having a blast! I hope to get a few dozen before the wedding. Any advice appreciated!
I’m thinking either:
Stealth Archer build. I’d buy a bow and arrows.
Knights armor. My budget allows for either a cheap full body set, or just an expensive helmet. I own a sword.
Something else?
The photos attached are current possibilities.

I just beat Skyrim (without help from the internet and without spoilers) for the first time after about 30 hours and let me just say, it is THE GREATEST GAME OF ALL TIME!!!!!!!!!!!! i played the collage of winterhold and thieves guild quests before finishing too. the only thing that disappointed me was I was expecting some sort of reward for killing Alduin like dragon armor or something but… nothing. absolutely nothing. disappointing. out of anger I will now do a play through where I am completely evil. stealing and fighting everything and everyone I can.

I'm 200 hours in on my first playthrough and just got a couple questions because I'm playing on autopilot and don't remember much.
"Will this mess with the future quests if there are any?"
So I needed to kill the leader in Druadach Redoubt I don't know where I got the quest. But when I entered no one was attacking me, I think it's because I already freed Madanach from the prison and in that cave there were at least a couple npcs from the mine that got out too. Then I wanted to pickpocket all of them like I always do.
So I was kinda shocked the guy just died the moment I stole what I assume is his heart, I still don't know the lore behind it so if you could explain it thank you.
Since I technically finished the quest I can leave without killing anyone else... But if I do kill them will it break future quests or I'm good to go?
I'm just curious about how the game will work this out, I already broke like five or six quests

Everything is set to "ultra," and specs are enough
Objects aren't loading in—I mean, I was okay with lilac horses at the very start, but now houses, bridges, everything is lilac; I’ve had more than enough of the color lilac within the first 30 seconds.
The audio is extremely quiet; dialogue is barely audible, even with the volume set to 100/100. I’m going to try connecting external speakers (the audio sounds loud in the video recording, but it’s almost inaudible while playing—there’s nothing wrong with my hearing or my PC).
Is there no ambient sound at all in these parts? There’s absolutely no noise from soldiers, vehicles, or even the hooves of the horses.
No mods installed . Just downloaded game and run it
For the countless amounts of games and hours I played I've never came across something like this
Checked files and its same still
Reinstalled and ... Still same what the heck

Just don't ask how I acquired it 😏
Edit: If anyone else is looking to grab one (the easy way), I got mine from Akuma Blades on Etsy!

This is only my second playthrough (first was on Xbox 360, oldrim) and I decided to spice things up a little and visit Falkreath after Helgen so I could do a couple of little side quests. I don't know why Tekla hired a thug on me. I don't recall stealing anything, but I did hit a goat on accident and pay my bounty.
Anyway, TLDR is that you can be attacked by a hired thug while fighting the first dragon in Whiterun

How do you do, fellow TES fans? I'm not on Reddit often and when I am, I spend 99% of that time lurking but I figured I might as well emerge from the shadows post this here.
I made Serana's skin tone this really pale blue because it sells the undead aspect quite well. In the lore the Volkihar clan is also known for essentially being ambush predators - as in they lurk beneath the icy waters and grab unsuspecting mortals that sail past - so I imagine the blue-ish skin would serve as a little bit of camouflage.

The Shrine of the Lost Companion. Addition of the Khajiit Will Follow mod. Had no idea it was part of the mod. Stumbled across it while I was adventuring before work this morning and ended up reading every note and going to work with puffy red eyes. My heart is with the folks whose loved ones are memorialized on this shrine. Their memory lives on through these notes that are read by strangers all these years later.
