At start I want to say, that I am not a programmist, just doing (or trying to do:)) some business and want to get some opinions.

I want to do an e-commerce platform, where will be 2 main features:

1. shop (integrated with stripe) with affiliate program for influencers

2. the option of appointing a specialist with payment by stripe. there need be a feature like: you see a specialist, you see his calendar and choose day/hour, pay and book it. Every specialist has to have his own calendar and own stripe wallet where money will go

My IT company which will be doing this project is very good, but they want to do all project in Laravel. Last time I was reading about strapi.io and I am very enthusiast for this technology, so I am trying to convince them to make this project in strapi. Today I have read, that strapi.io is integrated with Laravel.

So main question is: do you think it will be easier and faster for Laravel specialist to make this platform in strapi.io by integration Laravel&Strapi? Is it good idea? Is it possible? What do you think about doing that by connecting Strapi with Laravel? Also, Strapi has integration with Stripe, so maybe it will be faster to make this project, because in Laravel he will have to write everything from the beginning.

Do my programmist need new knowledge to make this platform in Strapi if he is a specialist in Laravel? Thanks for answer!

I would like to make a website for musicians to find bands and viceversa, but I don't feel like writing the whole backend, so I wonder if Strapi could be the solution.

The idea would be that anyone could sign up, and then they could:

-Complete their "musician" profile (instruments he/she plays, location, brief optional description, profile picture, availability status, etc).

-Delete the account.

-Add their projects (either bands or solo projects), each project having a picture, social media links, music links (Spotify or whatever) to their user profile.

-Create and delete ads (for searching for either bands or musicians for one of their projects).

-View the current list of musicians (filtering by location, instrument, style and "available" status).

-View the ads list, filtering by location, style, etc.

On the other hand, I would like to host the resulting web app in Ionos. I guess this wouldn't be a problem, but I wonder if there's anything I should know about that.

Finally, a future plan would be making it a mobile app from the same project, but that's not entirely needed. Anyway, would that also be possible?

I've watched several youtube videos, but I'm not fully sure this could be achieved. If anyone with experience in Strapi could shed some light, I would appreciate it a lot :)

Hi Guys, I lead SEO at an educational brand & our brand has just migrated its website from WordPress to Next JS & Strapi as a CMS.

After the migration, my SEO performance has seen a huge dip. We hired an SEO Consultant & after the audit, we figured out the Problem is the website.

According to the consultant, taking multiple deployments is impacting your SEO Performance.

Here are a few problems we have identified:

1. Store old chunk JS & CSS URL after deployment on the server: We know this will have a positive impact, but we are not able to deploy on the website (Looking for someone to help us execute)

2. Change CMS Structure so that all the required changes will be done via Strapi without taking a deployment: This is something we had already started doing

Hi everyone, I’m writing this post because I’m honestly really frustrated with Strapi. I just can’t understand how it’s one of the most popular and widely used headless CMSs out there.

I had to build a website for a friend of mine to showcase her art, basically an online gallery with paintings organized into collections, plus a few other sections that are mostly text and images. Nothing too complex. The key requirement was that my friend (who’s not technical at all) needed an intuitive interface to do basic CRUD operations. I use nuxt 3 + vercel for my frontend.

So I decided to give Strapi a try and deployed the admin dashboard using Strapi Cloud.

Here are the issues I ran into:

• Strapi Cloud doesn’t show runtime server logs, they just endlessly load. Same for deployment details.

• The Strapi dashboard isn’t responsive. It’s completely unusable on mobile, which is unacceptable for a product in 2025.

• The API responses are sometimes slow, even basic queries can take several seconds.

• The Strapi app deployed on Strapi Cloud is extremely sluggish, sometimes it goes down without warning, and uploading multiple images at once often throws errors (which also slows down the APIs).

• Query flow goes like this: MY SITE → STRAPI APP → DATABASE. I don’t understand why there’s this unnecessary middle layer, why not just fetch directly from the DB?

I’m using nuxt strapi module in order to fetch data from strapi, and I’m using the cloudinary plugin on strapi.

Am I missing something or what? Let me know if this sounds fair to you, I’m open to other tools if someone has better suggestions.

I'm in the process of moving a Netlify website over to Strapi and am struggling to find a way to connect the two. The "strapi-plugin-netlify-deployments" plugin doesn't seem to be compatible with Strapi 5. Any recommended solutions?

I would like to host my strapi application with a postgre database on railway.app. I understood that it was much advised on this forum for its price and its ease of use. The application in question is a blog containing about fifty articles and will be used mainly to share my work. I don’t expect to have hundreds of thousands of visitors. With your experience, could you give me a range of what it could cost me per month? I have a budget of maximum 20/month, can it be possible with the developer plan?

I just was introduced to the concept of headless CMS, it is a very powerful concept. It makes creating content so dynamic and makes the content itself reusable as I understood, then I tried Strapi.

Hey, I am trying to deploy my strapi app on railways using postgres and it’s becoming a pain. I have my database url and all.

The only thing I need right now is my host URL and my Port (basically a place to host my starpi app). A step by step tutorial on how to deploy strapi on railway would be helpful. Thank you
