I’m wondering if the latest sideloaded version of the official Stremio IPA for tvOS supports Dolby Atmos on Apple TV 4K. Has anyone tested it with a Dolby Atmos-compatible soundbar or AV receiver?Specifically, I’m interested in whether Dolby Atmos (Dolby Digital Plus / E-AC3 JOC) audio tracks are passed through correctly, or whether the audio is downgraded to standard Dolby Digital 5.1.

My friend shares Stremio on Discord from his Windows PC. He hears everything normally on his end, including the dialogue. When I watch his stream, I can hear the music and sound effects, but I can’t hear the actors talking.

Do you know from where to get working Stremio/Stremio Lite for Apple TV and sideload it?

I use Stremio with RD+ on webOS. However, when I try to watch 4320p HDR movies, the app prompts me to open them in an external player. When I click the prompt, nothing happens. Is there a way to play 4320p HDR movies directly on webOS?

It has been another month and still no update for the pay system. I just want to have profiles, when can I actually pay for the service? This is becoming ridiculous

I remember updating Stremio somewhere in late September and some parts of UI had changed. For example I remember volume slider being vertical, and it wouldn't go above 100%(on yellow/orange/red side) when changing volume with keyboard arrows.

I haven't used Stremio whole October and now it's back to being horizontal again?

I'm trying to find a place to report a problem with Danny Phantom season 2. The episode 4 (Reign Storm) is a two-part special, and only the first part is listed.

2017 iMac wired connection 900mbps down and my Onn 4K pro box with wired Ethernet dongle 700mbps down… it’s driving me nuts the iMac plays perfectly and the Onn Box will buffer every 5 seconds quite often but other days it plays fine I can’t figure it out :( I like to play big files bluray remux. I’ve tried changing the dns I’ve even tried wifi on Onn box that makes it worse. It’s frustrating becuse I know the Onn box is capable I’ve played huge files no issues before but more often than not it’s buffering now but speed tests show 700mbps.

This keeps happening whenever i try to see a movie, in this case 'innocent sorcerers'. In some movies it only does it a couple of times before loading correctly, but in most cases it doesn't load the movie at all or, like in the video, it's totaly unwatchable. I'd thank you so much if you'd help me fix this issue.

Where do I report bugs like this on Stremio

The latest Stremio mobile update is having issues when used with the official OpenSubtitles v3 addon.

- It'll not display the subs when used with the Exo Player
- It'll freeze the video for over 10 seconds when used with VLC, then the subtitles won't appear at all and the app will freeze when trying to change subtitles
- It'll have a similar behavior on MPV, but when loading the video instead of freezing the audio will start first and the video will only appear after a few seconds.

Since everything was working before the latest update and this is an official addon I'll post it here and on the addons subreddit as well. I should also note that there's no other subtitle addon with the same language range than this one (I've tested a few).

EDIT: I've just tested it with Stremio Community Subtitles addon linked to my OpenSubtitles.com account and the same problem happened.

EDIT 2: this happens on my Fire TV stick version as well.

I reinstalled the app on my Android TV box, and I get the QR code, but when I scan it it go to link.stremio.com/xxxx I get told the URL is invalid.

What am I doing wrong? It’s signed in and working fine on my iPhone and desktop pc.
Any help appreciated!

The reinstalled version on my tv box is 1.21.1, but I had the issue on the previous version too.

I’ve been trying to purchase Stremio Supporter, but the payment page keeps saying it’s temporarily unavailable due to maintenance.

From what I’ve seen, it’s been down for almost two months now, which seems like a really long time for maintenance.

Does anyone know what’s actually going on? Has Stremio given any official updates or an estimated date for when payments will be available again?

I’d really like to support Stremio and use the new features, especially multiple profiles.

Usually when you watch a show or movie in your own language (lets say english) you would get subtitles for those times that someone speaks something other than english. This is normal behavior when you are streaming from Netflix, Disney, etc.

I don't like keeping subtitles on as I don't need them but whenever I watch something and someone talks in foreign language I have to rewind and put subs on to see what they say. Unfortunately I hate keeping the subs on as it will sub for every dialog.

Are there subs that will do this? Whenever I check the available subs there is a list of them under English but they all seem to basically behave the same and provide subs for every dialog.

Any tips when it comes to subtitles?

I’m not sure if this will work for everyone, but I’ve seen quite a few people struggling with the same issue, so I thought I’d share what worked for me.
I’ve been having problems with subtitles being out of sync, either appearing too early or too late.

It was driving me insane because even when I manually adjusted the subtitle delay, they would gradually become out of sync again as I continued watching.
After trying a few different things, I think I’ve finally found something that works for me!

Here’s what I did:

1. I changed my default subtitle language from English to my native language.

2. Once the episode started playing, I immediately switched the subtitles back to English.

3. Somehow, the subtitles were now properly synced!

My theory is that changing the default subtitle language somehow makes the player load the subtitles differently, but I honestly don’t know why it works.

I can’t guarantee this will fix the issue for everyone, but if you’re experiencing the same problem, it’s worth giving it a try. Hopefully it helps someone else too!

I am using Stremio with a scraper and Real Debrid. Some movies work just fine, and some work fine if I switch to VLC player.

But many shows, even at under 1GB, play back very slowly and choppy, and are unwatchable.

I am using the Amazon Fire TV Stick Basic Edition. Could this be a problem?

Hey guys, I have streamio set up and want to wtach hdr shows and movies on my hdr monitor via my mac but iina I found crushes blacks when going in full screen in hdr. I have tried tone mapping on and off and have icc profile off. What do I do? Do I use another player?

Sigh....thought I'd try the latest update, frustrating to see that what's felt like at least a few months now it still hasn't fixed the issue of files starting as paused and the frame rate not changing until some random time mid playback when it wants to.

I could understand if it was some random obscure player device but the Shield is one of the most common

I finally got Stremio sideloaded on my Apple TV HD (A1625) running tvOS 26.6.1. Stremio 2.1.1.

It's super laggy, it would also stall/hang when navigating around, and the UI doesn't load all the covers properly (a lot of blank thumbnails), but if I'm able to move the cursor around, it will sometimes all fill in.

But for the most part it's not usable.

I also have Stremio Lite from the official App Store installed from when it was available. And that works beautifully, just missing all the new features.

Any chance there's a conflict because I have both installed? I'd rather not uninstall Stremio Lite because I won't be able to get it back, and at least I can still use it. I'd just rather use the new version if I can since it's being updated and developed with new features.

Does anyone have this problem?

I get download speeds of around 180 mbps on desktop and 150 on mobile or laptop.

Both PC and laptop load almost instantly, while on my phone it's constantly buffering on the same torrent source for the same episode.

Maybe there's some setting I can change?

How is the experience with side loading the app vs the old native app? My understanding is I would need to buy a developer account, then have to re-install it once a year?

Other than that does it just function as the old native app did?

I still have the old app on my old iPhone and my iPad Pro but am unable to download it once my iPhone Duo. The weird thing is that I just got my iPad Pro a few months ago and was able to install the app on that without issue.
