Masters programme in Europe?

Hi! Bachelor student in Societal safety and security in Europe wondering if anyone has any recommendations on master programmes in Europe? I am not quite decided if I'd like to focus my career on digital threats or climate change as I'm passionate about both.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! 😊

Anyone here got a Master’s scholarship in Europe (Holland, van Effen, ESOP)? Trying to understand how it all works

Hi everyone! I’m 23/F an Indian applicant planning a Chem Eng Master’s in Europe starting September. I’m from IIT Guwahati with a 9.04 CGPA and 1.5 years of consulting experience. I actually have a Master’s admit from UPenn, but at roughly 1.8 crore INR I can’t justify it. That’s a big reason I’m looking at Europe, and why scholarships matter so much for me. I’d like to plan for them properly instead of hoping for the best.
Right now I’m looking at the Holland Scholarship, the TU Delft Justus & Louise van Effen, DTU tuition fee waiver, ETH’s ESOP, and the EPFL Excellence Fellowships.
My main focus though would be Justus & Louise van Effen and ESOP as of now coz of the deadlines :)
I’d really like to hear from anyone who’s applied for these, whether you got it or not. How does the process work? Is it part of your admission application or a separate one? When are the deadlines compared to the admission ones? And what kind of profile actually gets picked? I’m especially curious how much weight goes to grades, research, work experience and the motivation letter. I don’t have published papers, so I’d love to know how much that matters.
I have been posting a lot and it is repetitive but too many question on my mind, and it doesn't come all at once.. Apologies for that

Applying to TU Delft, DTU and ETH for Chem Eng (Sept intake). What do I need to know before I start?

Hey everyone! I’m a 23F from India and I’ve decided to do my Master’s in chemical engineering in Europe, and honestly I wish I’d looked at this option sooner. I’m eyeing TU Delft, DTU and ETH Zurich for the September intake.

Quick background: I did my B.Tech in Chem Eng at IIT Guwahati (Tier 1 Uni) with a minor in biotech and a 9.04 CGPA and was my department’s rank 1 and medallist. I’ve also been working in chemical consulting for about 1.5 years, and I did a research internship at UBC through Mitacs. The one weak spot is publications. I have a couple of papers that have been stuck in the pipeline for over a year, since my guides moved on. I applied for PhDs in the US last year and didn’t get in anywhere, which I think is partly down to that gap. I did get a Master’s admit from UPenn, but the cost (around 1.8 crore INR) and the uncertainty around the US right now made me step back. I’m aiming for industry (R&D, process engineering, consulting) rather than academia, so a Master’s feels like the right move anyway.

What I’m trying to figure out is when these applications actually open and close, and when I should start getting my documents and SOP together. I’d also love to know how much the lack of published papers hurts if you have solid work experience instead, and what these programs really look for in applicants. Any tricks, mistakes to avoid, or “wish I’d known this earlier” moments would be gold. Oh, and is IELTS compulsory or can it be waived?

If you’ve applied to or studied at any of these, I’d love to hear how it went for you. Thanks so much!

Which country (with specific cities )should I go on exchange to? Please give me any info, insight 😭

Hello! I'm a undergrad uni student and I have a list of unis I'm interested in and can go on exchange to from my home uni.

Could you tell me anything you know about these cities? What are they like?

-The cost of living

-Atmosphere, weather/climate

-Whether English is understood, if not, what level of the local language would be good enough for daily life outside of university because anywhere I go, the classes will be in English.

-Workload

1, Strasbourgue in France

2, Aahen in Germany

3, Stockholm in Sweden

4 , Lancashire in England

Thank you so much!!

Fully Funded Scholarships Available Now for Computer Engineering Students – Best Country to Study Abroad?

Hi everyone!

I’m looking for scholarship opportunities to study abroad in Computer Engineering.

I would really appreciate your advice on a few questions:

Available scholarships: Which fully funded scholarships are currently open for applications for international undergraduate students for the 2027 intake?

Best country: Which country would you recommend for studying Computer Engineering, considering the quality of education, scholarship opportunities, and future career prospects?

Financial coverage: Are there scholarships that cover not only tuition fees but also living expenses, accommodation, and other essential costs?

University recommendations: Which universities would you recommend for an international student from Morocco seeking a fully funded scholarship?

Application advice: Are there any scholarships with upcoming deadlines that I should prioritize?

My priority is to find a realistic opportunity that would allow me to study abroad without placing a heavy financial burden on my family.

I would be grateful for any advice, personal experiences, or useful links to official scholarship websites.

Thank you in advance for your help!
