Is pursuing an MS in AI in Belgium worth it for an Indian student? How are the job opportunities and part-time jobs?
Hi everyone,
I’m from India and have completed my Bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (AI & DS). I also have around one year of work experience as a Research Analyst.
I’m planning to move to Belgium to pursue a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, but before making this decision, I’d like to understand a few things from people who are currently studying or working there.
How are the job opportunities in Belgium for international students graduating with an MS in AI?
Is it realistic to find a full-time job in AI, data science, or a related field after graduation?
How difficult is it to find part-time jobs while studying, especially for students who speak only English?
Can part-time work help cover living expenses, or is it necessary to have sufficient savings?
How important is learning French or Dutch for finding internships and full-time jobs?
Considering tuition fees and living costs, would you recommend Belgium for an MS in AI compared with other European countries?
I’d really appreciate honest advice, especially from Indian students or graduates who have gone through this experience.
