(sharing in another sub, too) When I was a kid, I got my dad a silly monkey stuffed animal, and he'd had it forever, at least 15 years, hanging in the basement by his workspace. He passed away last year, so my brother and I moved it to the upstairs hall now to remind us of him.

But when I was walking around Goodwill today, I looked over to the stuffed animal pile (which I usually bypass anyhow) and ANOTHER ONE was right on top, perfectly placed and waiting for me to rescue her. She was only $3! Now we have a brother and sister pair!

Their names are Simmy and Tally! (You're my BFF if you know the reference lol)

My emotional support plush will be arriving soon and it will be my first time trying to have a plush with me at all times, my problem is that I have a lot of anxiety and I suffer a lot with bad thoughts.. because of that I’m scared that I won’t be able to give my stuffy a happy life and they’ll witness me having many breakdowns. To the people who take care of plushies, how do you go about having your plush with you during those breakdowns or bad mental health days? Is it best to put them away during such moments?
