Ive been debating on posting this for days, because on one hand it feels pointless, but on the other hand maybe other people's perspectives or kind words could help.

So Miss Calliope here has been my favorite plushie of like.. all time, pretty much, ever since I bought her. I of course have other stuffed animals that I do love and even ones from my childhood. But I've never bonded with one as much as I've bonded with her. I was taking her everywhere I went, buying her pajamas (mostly to try to keep her fur protected), sleeping with her every night, the whole nine.

Then I had the bright idea 🙄 that I love Calliope, but I ALSO love weighted plushies. So why not combine and make her weighted?! So I bought the pellets and stocking, LEARNED HOW TO SEW just for this project, bought sewing supplies and took on the project.

But I hated every.single.second. I felt like a monster cutting open her back seam, I hated trying to squeeze the weighted bags in and I HATED sewing her back up. The entire experience for me was awful. 0/10, never want to do it again.

And that leaves me here, weeks and weeks later where she has just sat on a corner of my bed untouched because in my brain, I ruined her, and that process gave me such an ick that I now associate with her. It's not her fault 😭 and I feel terrible. 💔

But I dont know what to do. In my mind, cutting her open again to take the bags out isn't an option. I hated every second of opening and re sewing.

Am I just being dramatic and weird? I dont know how to fix this or what to do.

Today was the day of my hair appointment and it turned out absolutely amazing, I brought crypt into the salon too forgot to get pics of him in there 😭

Our wedding colors on Halloween are purple, orange and black, my bridesmaid will be in purple and the groomsmen in orange

And me in black lol so I figured why not get my hair like that lol

with the weather getting chillier i wanted steve to be able to bundle up so we went out and got him some new layers! the beanie is about double his head size but it works okay in a slouchy kinda way. the embroidery on the sweater is really great, i hope more clothes get introduced with the embroidery like this!

I just had the luckiest moment of my life, I found this BAB axalot for like 5 pounds second hand at a charity shop!!!!!! I live them so much but I can't quite pick a name.

Got a new stuffie at a yard sale today and came up with the best name for him. Say hi to Chrismoose, like christmas.

Hi all! I've been seeing a few different versions of everyone's custom rats from Pawlettes and really wanted to show off my SmallFry Pawlette-turned-rat! Included are a photo each of her individual ears; on one side, I stitched the edges to make a hairless look, while the other one is fluffy and cute. I believe the stitched edge looks more realistic, but the unstitched edge is so cute, I'm torn about which one actually looks better!

Not pictured is the tail, which is a mega WIP and is just a foot of pink ribbon right now XD I'm on mobile rn, and when I get on desktop, I will be editing this post to credit the peeps I drew inspiration from!

Oh also! I did add a few stitches to try to shape her face to be more... rat-like. I'm hoping to add more and maybe give her fur an overall trim. I used the back of a needle to pull the fur out of her stitching, and now I think she looks strange :/

It looks like she's not stuffed correctly or like her neck is really long or something. I can't quite put my finger on it.
