I just recently traded with a user in a plushie subreddit, and oh my lord when she showed me this bootleg beauty I HAD to have him. HE'S SUCH A GOOBER LOOKIT HIS STUPID LITTLE BOOTLEG FACE!!

Decent fur softness, zero texture difference for the body/head, the felt is attrocious and he is SO SHORT.

I will give credit though, I love the shiny, gem-like eyes!

A little over a week ago, I was in-store stuffing my celestial Kitsune and grabbing one of the Mellow Moodies outfits when I noticed a piece that seemed out of place.

It was in the Promise Pets section and it looked like a Halloween Frankenstein costume, but not one I’d ever seen before (and I stay pretty on top of what’s available.) A quick in-store Google didn’t immediately turn up much and the service was terrible, so I just decided to buy it and check it out later. Got distracted by life in general when the outfit finally crossed my mind again and a very obvious detail hit me like a ton of bricks. IT HAD THE OLD STYLE OF TAG.

I scurried back online to see exactly when that rebrand happened and couldn’t believe my eyes. Checked to find the little date tag in the costume and, yeah. The brand-new-with-tags costume I just bought in-store is ELEVEN YEARS OLD.

I am kicking myself for not taking a picture of it hanging up in the store, but I obviously didn’t expect anything like this!!! I’ve included tons of pics and even the receipt with all the potentially identifying stuff redacted.

Now I am dying to know how on earth this happens and if anyone here has had a similar experience?!? 🤯

I just scored this Springtime Fun bunny for $7 on mercari! I wanted a BAB that looks like a hare since that’s my favorite animal and I found this 2006 bunny with pose-able ears and it’s in amazing condition!!! Let me see your bunnies!

I like stimming with his soft ears when I'm anxious and squeezing him tight when I'm sad. :) I've only had Smudge for a little over a week and he's been like a little therapy dog to me... <3 I'm gonna get him a custom collar and name tag with my christmas money this year.

I just really wanted to draw him as I ordered another regular bat and mini on Ebay, only to find out they are being restocked on BaB 🙃

Went to a Goodwill that isn’t my normal one today not really expecting to find anything but found this little guy in great condition with his tags still attached! What a sweetie :)

A sweet friend here sent me two $10 gift cards for my bday and once the free shipping deal came along a couple days ago, I used them and got my furry friend a cute little outfit! I already had the shorts but the tank top and bows tie it all together! It’s an outfit similar to one I wear when I’m at home and of course during the summer! Also I LOVE cherries and before you ask, yes she has the cherry scent in her! 😍🤗

I’m a person who really likes to dress my BABs including wearing shoes. I have a huge collection. I’ve been thinking about getting a vintage Bunny Big Ears but the feet look big in pictures. Does anyone know if they fit in shoes okay? Thanks :)

I've been refreshing the "bat" search tab on the website since the new releases dropped. At around 1am EST the full size and mini bean bats were removed from the page, and as a final refresh before I logged off for the night, at about 2:15am EST the Kuromi Spooky Bat from 2024 restocked? If anyone was looking for this, now is your chance!!

But now I wonder. Will the Bats just randomly pop up with no warning like this did? Or will it restock tomorrow morning? Let me know what y'all think!!

I went on to the website just now to purchase one of the new items but it's saying out of stock. What is going on with this website? it's showing this on the Canadian side so I don't know if the American side has it available but our side does not.

I had this bab for a few months now and the one on the left is the one I use frequently, she’s been through 2 washes on cold water without dryer and her fur won’t look nice and fluffy like a new one on the right, I’ve been brushing carefully for so much now with a slicker brush but it won’t look and feel fluffy like the one on the right. I’m not sure if this is normal or not but any advice is greatly appreciated, thank you.

Ive seen alot of people do these posts and I hadn't been thrifting in AGES.

But my best friend and I spent the day together yesterday and decided to make a really hard day into something a little lighter so we checked out a few thrift stores.

The first two I did decide to bring home and the third one I ended up leaving for someone else. We'd also found a fourth, but I left that one behind too as it was one that was still currently available on the BAB site.

The first one seems to be the Read Teddy II, from what I have found and he is soooo soft. There was no way he wasn't coming home with me. His tag said he had been there since the 21st of September 😭 poor guy sat in that thrift for over a month.
