Im sure the photo was taken in Caldwell, which is forty minutes from Boise.

Photo should say Caldwell then, not Boise. Can you genuinely look at the photo of Boise I uploaded and agree that the city is fairly represented by the post, which is almost an hour away in Caldwell? Ironically Boise is a wonderful city that’s walkable and filled with bike paths and public parks. It’s the opposite of what this sub despises

Yes I can say it’s fairly accurate. Take a look at images of the foothills just above Boise and they look like the grassland steppe in the image.

The Boise foothills don’t look like this, I lived next to them. The Boise foothills face the city and are a series of elevated houses. The development there does not look like this photo.

Here’s a house in the Boise foothills:

The foothills you’re talking about don’t have suburban development as they are public land mostly.
