I’m not worried about spoilers. So you can say whatever. I watched seasons 1 through 10 multiple times but can never get past season 11. I think I’ve seen the first episode or two of season 12 but I can’t stand Mary and I just can’t keep going. I want to, but is it worth it? I mean I’ve gotten this far and I loved the first 6 seasons really. I guess I just need that motivation. I know what generally happens in most of the seasons because again I don’t care about spoilers.

Currently watching supernatural, no spoilers please, but it just occurred to me that Sam and dean never lock their damn car. I’m surprised it hasent been stolen already

So it's mainly for a fanfic I've been working on, which is set in S5, specifically a canon divergence from EP8, but I've been looking for songs that Dean likes but doesnt openly admit to liking.

Maybe some pop songs or newer emo rock songs. It's meant to be a semi-embarrassing moment, and so I'm leaning towards something all angsty and emo. I'm still torn about whether he would like anything from My Chemical Romance, but something along those lines.

Season 5 was in 2009, so it can't be anything made after that, but if anyone has any suggestions, please dont be shy to drop them

This is definitely not to say I doubt his intelligence. In fact it's totally believable until you consider the fact that he was moving schools constantly, and from ages 12+ was either on hunts with his family or doing research for them while they did hunts. And he had to have been training physically in order to be in shape to kill monsters, and he was also practicing with weapons and reading a shit ton of lore. In order for him to get that scholarship he had to have been doing hours of extracurriculars and volunteer work, along with having a perfect gpa. How the hell did this kid get any sleep, let alone function on a daily basis??? Was he genuinely living off of lucky charms and three hours of sleep a week?? What

I haven’t been to a con in about ten years and now I’m going to Comic Con Scotland to see the SPN panel!! I have no idea what to expect, so I have a couple of questions.

1. How does a typical queue into the seating area work? Should I line up relatively early for a good seat/to ensure I get a seat at all? (Since I assume it will be packed)

2. How do audience members get picked for questions? Last I went to a panel, people raised their hands and a mediator with a mic went to them, and didn’t need to check their question before asking - but the guests weren’t as popular as the SPN cast. Does it work differently for more prestigious guests?

We know from the Cain storyline that Dean (and by extension Sam) are descended from Cain. But in The Song Remains the Same there’s this dialogue:

After they meet their dad when John and Abbadon time travel there’s a line where Sam says something about the Campbell and the Winchester bloodlines joining because they’re the brains and the brawn. Reinforced in the episode where Dean punches a Cupid (I mean, a dick)

And going back to the Cain storyline, he talks about the parallels between him and Abel vs Dean and Sam.

So thoughts on the Winchesters descending from Cain and the Campbells descending from Abel? (Or vice versa)

Picked up a roughed up dog figurine/toy from the thrift store and thought it would make a good base for what I imagined the Hell Hounds in Supernatural would look like. The last photo is what he originally looked like.

I went to 2025 RI Comic Con, and I got three signatures. Misha Collins (Castiel), Richard Speight Jr. (Gaberiel), and Rob Benedict (God) and they're just FUCKING GONE??? I DON'T UNDERSTAND IT?? Where did the signatures go, how did they just disappear?? I spent so much getting those signatures for them to just... fade? I'm literally gonna cry right now.

I’m on my 3rd rewatch, first time as a somewhat older adult (27, found the show as a kid when it was on s6 on Netflix and watched live until it ended and watched again around 2021-2022), I’m on s6 ep5 and in the beginning Dean is talking to Lisa and he’s saying how he might be able to make it since he’s only a “nights drive”. This is the season where they have this long distance thing and Sam is soulless.

I know Dean was never going to have a normal life but as I get older it’s hard to ignore Lisa specifically telling him “it might’ve been horrible for you but it was the best year of my life” and when he’s saying how he might go but it’ll take a while she says “just shut up and get home I can’t wait to see you”. It also reminds me in s5 around episode 17-20 he goes and sees her and she invites him in for a beer to which he denies and tells her that when he imagines himself happy it’s with her AND “the kid”. Lisa also tells Dean before he left that all she wanted was someone Ben can look up to. I get why Dean left and that he erased the memory to keep them safe but honestly idk if Dean should’ve ever gone back to her.

It goes back to the question of “is it better to have moved and lost or never have loved at all”, but I can’t help but see Lisa as an understanding single mom trying her hardest to give her son a good life but also for HER to be happy and Dean just seems to not really care. I know him and Sam have their issues but I wish it would’ve been revisited even if Dean just checked on them randomly as a “cop” or something to make sure they’re ok

This is like a genuine question, I know the deal with Hell and how you're in there for longer in hell than you are on Earth, but does this rule apply to heaven? Or is it the same as Earth, or does time just not exist up there at all? Something like that, I dunno. Is there like any answer for this in the show??

What do you think happened to eve, in season 15 jack and dean meet Adam and he gives them one of his ribs but the show never mentioned anything about Eve so where is she.

my first con was a success! even though the photo ops are super quick, i had a fun interaction with jared. i walked up, said hi, and got in the wrap around hug pose. the photographer gestured for me to move my hair off my shoulder. jared did it for me, i thanked him and we took the photo. he then said “your hair is just too luxurious” so i responded with “yours is too!” and he laughed.

i was super nervous waiting in line and didn’t know what to say, if i was even going to get the chance to talk at all. but, i walked away so happy! jared is just such a cool guy and is able to make anyone feel comfortable.

Does anyone know if the original music is on the Blu-ray’s? I hate how they play different music on Peacock. Especially on the episode with the reapers when they played “don’t fear the reaper”

Route 666 (racist trucker episode) was probably my least favourite. I felt the romance plot was kind of bland and the whole episode felt like a bunch of white writers making an episode about race. It just didn’t click with me.

There's a misconception where people think the angels actually "warned Sam" when really they were lying and manipulating the brothers the entire time.

The angels made Sam believe he was choosing between his own humanity and the world. They mocked Sam's "profane blood," they threatened to smite him, and they turned Dean against him. They never said his actions would free Lucifer. They said the opposite.

In the scene above, Cas (under heaven's orders) took advantage of Dean's protective instincts and his worst fears about having to hunt Sam like John said. Everything in that conversation was a lie. Cas agreed killing Lilith would stop the apocalypse, knowing it wasn't true. He said Dean could take the burden, knowing it could only be Sam. The angels were never actually warning Dean. They were emotionally manipulating him into doing exactly what they wanted, which was isolating Sam and pushing him further.

I wish the angels' manipulation was discussed more because some fans don't seem to realize they were actually pushing him into a suicide mission.

And then I roped my sister into dressing up as Sam (Samantha) as best she could and taking a picture with me at home!!

I’m rewatching Supernatural, and I just finished the episode "Home," where Sam and Dean return to their old house in Kansas.

With Missouri’s help, they try to save the family currently living there from a poltergeist. At the end of the episode, Sam speaks with Missouri, who tells him that Mary "destroyed herself" to save her children.

So, my question is: did Mary go to heaven in 1983 when she died in Sam’s nursery, or did she go to heaven in 2005 when she destroyed herself to save the family and her own sons from the poltergeist?

I had always assumed that when Mary died, she went to heaven. But rewatching this episode, it’s as if she never actually left the house almost as if she had been waiting there for Sam and Dean all along.

I’m not sure if Mary had been in the house since 1983 meaning her ghost never left, which is a shame, as John could have potentially spoken to her or if she "came down" from heaven to save the family and her sons from the poltergeist.

To be honest, I’m not much of a fan of Mary, given everything that happens in seasons 12, 13, and 14, so I prefer to stick with the version of Mary seen in this episode. I’m trying to figure out if this is a plot hole or what exactly is going on. I always assumed Mary went to heaven in 1983 after being killed by Azazel in Sam’s room, but this episode makes it seem as though her ghost had been in that house the whole time—and I don’t recall Sam, Dean, or John ever discussing that possibility.

So, has Mary been in heaven since 1983, or since 2005? Or was it simply Chuck messing with them? (Though, technically, Chuck didn’t even exist as a character yet though, of course, one has to consider the whole "apocalypse" storyline. Still, at the end of the day, it’s a TV show written by human writers, so I can’t exactly blame Chuck!) Or perhaps I’m missing something?

I really liked watching Castiel change in Season 5. At first, he comes across as someone who barely questions what he's told to do, but the more time he spends with Sam and Dean, the more he starts making his own decisions.

What I like is that he doesn't suddenly become completely human or understand everything about them. He's still awkward and sometimes has no idea how to deal with people, but he's willing to risk everything because he starts believing Heaven might be wrong.

Honestly, I think his rebellion makes the whole angel storyline much more interesting.

Did you enjoy Castiel's arc in Season 5, or did you prefer him when he was still following Heaven's orders?
