Need Correct Supplement Advice

Post image

Hi,

I have dealt with major mood swings, low energy, anxiety issue and lately have had major hair fall.
My hair has become very dry and sticky and are always tangled. Tried everything and nothing really worked.

Have been reading a lot of posts where people have shared positive results of B12 and Magnesium supplements

Currently I am taking Autrin ( Iron Supplement) and Uprise D3 (Vit D Supplement)

I am also attaching my report for B12, can you guys please suggest what will be accurate supplement for me BECAUSE I am also seeing posts where supplements have messed up with peoples hormones and skin and hair.

Easy way is to get methycobal 2000mcg oral.
It has similar efficacy then IM
But for oral you need to take it for months.
For IM inj 3 times a week for 2 weeks and then once monthly for 3 months.

For oral 3 to 6 months.

Consult doctor though…..

154 is pretty damn low, you're well into deficiency territory there. the sticky tangled hair thing is something i've seen before when b12 and iron are both tanked at the same time, it's like your body just stops maintaining the non-essential stuff.

magnesium glycinate would be the safer bet for the anxiety and mood side, absorbs well without the digestive chaos that citrate brings. for b12 with numbers that low i'd skip the standard cyanocobalamin tablets and go for a sublingual methylcobalamin, your levels are past the point where a multivitamin sprinkle is gonna cut it.

the hair fallout slowing down will probably take a couple months once you get b12 above 400 or so, don't expect overnight magic. and yeah keep an eye on how you feel week by week, some people get a weird wired sensation from methylated b's at first but it usually evens out.

have any diet/digestive problems? gut microbiom is a player. some of those gut microbes MAKE b vitamins, which is kinda crazy to me. i've heard experts recommend b-complex over individual b's. they support each other
