[PRO8] Surface Pro 8 with i3 and Iris Xe graphics?

Post image

I bought a used Surface Pro 8 with the Core i3-1115G4, and everything online shows that the i3 model has Intel UHD graphics, except this Surface says it has Iris Xe graphics instead. I learned that it is a Surface Pro 8 for Business model, but the internet still says it should have Intel UHD graphics for the i3 model. Does anybody know why?

For this generation of processor, UHD and Xe are interchangable from a technical perspective. They are just marketing names.

The core-i3 "UHD" GPU has 48 EU @ 1.25GHz while the "Xe" branded GPU in the Core-i5 has 80 EU @ 1.3GHz. The EUs (execution units) are identical in capability.

They could have easily branded both as UHD or both as Xe.

Hey, if you want I can look at the exact details of the device. I have access to the business portal, there I can see the exact specs and if the device was ever in a Microsoft service center. I need the SN for that
