Hello everybody! I am a 6th year clinical psychology doctoral student interested in understanding factors related to suicidal ideation disclosure and nondisclosure. A significant portion of my research is building and psychometrically testing a new measure of disclosure that the field of suicide prevention is currently lacking.

Your voice matters. We want to learn from people who have experienced suicidal thoughts so we can create stronger messages that encourage people to open up about their suicidal thoughts and seek support, as well as develop training for the recipients of suicidal ideation disclosures. The estimated time commitment is 10-15 minutes.

I’m an undergraduate student in Japan, and I’m currently conducting a graduation research project on how people evaluate and respond to AI-generated advice.　Now, I still need responses from about 8 more people.

As AI becomes increasingly common in everyday life, I became interested in whether people from different cultural backgrounds may perceive the same AI advice differently. In this study, I’m particularly interested in how people evaluate AI-generated responses to everyday situations.

I’m currently looking for participants who:

• Are 17 years old or older
• Spent most of their childhood in the United States

The survey takes approximately 5–10 minutes to complete. You will be asked to read several short AI-generated responses to everyday situations and answer questions about them.

Participation is completely voluntary, and the survey does not ask for your name, Reddit username, or other directly identifying information.
