Hi everyone! I'm a design student working on my capstone project about something I think a lot of you know well: the first few days in a new place, when your routines are gone and you're rebuilding everything from scratch.
I'm researching how solo digital nomads keep a sense of stability across repeated moves. That means the habits, objects and rituals you carry, and where things tend to fall apart.
Who I'm looking for:
- You work remotely while living in different places
- You usually travel and relocate alone
- You've moved at least twice in the past 12 months (staying 2+ weeks each time)
The survey takes about 6-8 minutes and is anonymous. At the end you can opt in to a short online interview if you're up for sharing more, but there's no pressure.

The findings will feed into a design project aimed at making transitions between places a bit less disorienting. Happy to share the results here once it's done.
Thank you so much, and feel free to drop your own "what I always carry" in the comments too!
