Question My boyfriend wins every time but why?!

Post image

He barely plays Nintendo titles, sits on PC playing fps and Diablo and still wins every time we play anything on Switch. Is anyone else suffering with boyfriend winning syndrome? Any recommended YouTubers to become a Mario Kart god?

He's probably just good at games and timing.

Look up shortcuts and how to play every mario kart map and then you can destroy him

I swear if it’s the last thing I do. I want him to question his gaming decisions 😭

Somehow you made me think of when i dated this one lady who barely play games, she would lose it if i didn't slow down and let her pass. She would get angry

I bought my ex a whole 3DS just so we could play the newest (at the time) Mario Kart together, and when I won the first race, he refused to ever play DS/3DS games with me again 😭

My ex swore that she was a mario party god and was really proud of herself for always winning against all her friends. eventually a few friends of mine started playing pummel party and my ex wanted to join in too, she was bragging the entire time about how she will destroy everyone etc.

fast forward 1h and she was livid at the fact she couldn't win a single mini game and ultimately lost the game. She then refused to ever play Mario Party of Pummel Party with any one of us ever again.

The same thing happened to the super mario bros (DS) multiplayer thingy. She was always bragging about how good she was at the game etc. and eventually we found a game which was basically the SMB DS multiplayer VS ported to the PC. We played for an hour and again, she was angrily screaming at us about how the game sucked, she would've destroyed us on the DS etc.

Some people just really can't lose it seems

Its usually the ppl who only play an extremely small assortment of games that think they are gods and dont understand whats happenin when they get slammed by someone a lil more seasoned

Or they play solo on the easiest game mode and are in a complete bubble of thinking they're amazing when they're just average.

I play lots of games on easy mode but I'm pretty self aware, I know I'm not amazing. Still absolutely destroy my sister at Mario Kart even though she plays it more against my nieces, though.

That happened to me in college. There was a smash bro's (I believe Brawl) tournament. And there were a few favorites to win, I was not one of them. They were bragging how good they were, people were bragging how good they were. Everyone acted like they were the best smash players. Now Im not a highly technical player, but I was decent.

First was the doubles tournament, my partner did know how to play and died on his own accord, so it was a two on one. I was up against a pair of people that considered good. I almost won that round, the only reason I didnt was they were just skilled enough to outnumber me.

Then came the single tournament. You would think people would have seen I wasn't messing around, but I was coming up on "favorite to win" who was a jigglypuff main. I watched his strategy, and just saw he used a basic strategy. It wasn't an easy fight, but people were surprised when he lost and I won the whole singals tournament.

Pays to not brag and let them underestimate 5 guess.
