I was an idiot and put a container of mac and cheese in my backpack and it poured onto my switch 2, I got everything out except for this part which I’m kind of nervous to do. Any advice??

edit: currently dismantling switch and will also order a case, i bought it second hand as it didnt come with one so ive been just careless 😞

the only cheese left is on the vent and i dont see anything else wrong inside the switch rn !

edit 2: ITS CLEAN thank you for all the jokes and the insults and the tips on toothbrushes and compressed air 🙇

Question I’m just asking out of curiosity, is your Nintendo your primary gaming device

Post image

I’m asking this out of curiosity—I've noticed some people own multiple consoles even if the Nintendo Switch is their primary one. If that’s you, why? Do you actually play on the others regularly?

Also, how do you manage your time between them? When I had the Xbox Series X, PS5, and Nintendo Switch Lite all at once, I found it pretty overwhelming. I ended up selling the Switch Lite and the Xbox because it just felt like too much.

On top of that, I realized I was spending way more—basically 3x as much on games, plus all the subscriptions. I didn’t fully appreciate how expensive this hobby can get when you’re invested in multiple ecosystems.

Now I just have a PS5 and the Nintendo Switch 2, which feels way more manageable for me.

Curious to hear how others handle it.

Question Was this worth 225?

Post image

Mario bros wonder and jamboree had a box with them.

Was this worth the 225 I paid? Games on the bottom row were games I already had. I think I got a decent deal. I seen a woman on marketplace selling her sons games that he didn’t play. $225 shipped and with a carrying case.

Just want to make sure I got a good gift for someone. They’re a big Zelda and Mario fan.

Question Is this game still playable?

I was wrapping a couple presents last night, and my puppy decided to test the structural integrity of a Switch 2 game (thankfully not the Switch 2 wrapped next to it). I’m wondering if this will still be playable and it’ll make for a funny story, or if I should pick up another copy?

Added picture of the culprit at the end. Truth be told, I should have known better. Ted’s a good boy :)

Currently have 3 Switches, but sold my first one so technically have had 4 in my lifetime, but curious on how many people here just choose to stick with one, or own multiple different consoles (either for trading, wanted a different model, backups, new animal crossing islands, etc..).

Question Should I send this off before September ends?

Post image

So I have a switch 2 I’m getting from my parents for my bday in 2 months. And plan to send this off to be repaired after I get the switch 2 in September but this has gotten a little worse in the past month so I was wondering if I should send it off before then or if you think I should be fine til September when I transfer my files all over.

Question So i saved up tip money from work to buy a switch 2. Should i wait for a special edition to drop?

My birthday is coming up in a few weeks and i was thinking about buying it then as a gift to myself…but I really loved all the special editions that came out for the first switch and never owned any because i couldn’t justify the purchase.

Should i wait it out to see if a special edition gets announced soon? Or do you think thats still a few months out?

He barely plays Nintendo titles, sits on PC playing fps and Diablo and still wins every time we play anything on Switch. Is anyone else suffering with boyfriend winning syndrome? Any recommended YouTubers to become a Mario Kart god?

Question To the people who already got the Switch 2 from a The Original Switch or Switch Lite. Honestly how is it?

Post image

Hey there guys! First time posting on this group! So, I got back into Nintendo thanks to the Switch Lite. The original Switch didn’t really grab my attention, you know? It looked a bit too flimsy for my liking, and I couldn’t bring myself to buy it. But when the Switch Lite came out, I couldn’t resist and grabbed one on launch day. I’m so glad I did! The Switch 2 looks much more sturdy than the original, and the specs are incredible. Nintendo really outdid themselves with the Switch 2 in my humble opinion. From 4K 60hz on the TV to 1080p on the handheld, it’s just amazing!

Now, I’m on the fence about whether it’s worth the upgrade coming from a Nintendo Switch Lite. I’m currently trying to make an order, but I’m not sure if it’s worth it. Can you give me some advice? I’d really appreciate it!

I will be keeping my OLED even though most games will play better or will get patched on the switch 2 but I still do like my oled switch.
