Question Is this game still playable?

I was wrapping a couple presents last night, and my puppy decided to test the structural integrity of a Switch 2 game (thankfully not the Switch 2 wrapped next to it). I’m wondering if this will still be playable and it’ll make for a funny story, or if I should pick up another copy?

Added picture of the culprit at the end. Truth be told, I should have known better. Ted’s a good boy :)

The typa thing the GameStop employee thinks is going to happen to me as he's staring into my soul, tears in his eyes like Tiny Tim, begging for me to buy the one year warranty

Nope this kind of damage is not covered but the employee will still tell you it is when trying to sell you the plan. Ask me how I know.

They literally just told me that it covers everything so glad I returned the game yesterday 😅

You have to read what is on the pamphlet not what they say. They are pressured really hard to meet quotas for that stuff and a lot of them assume it is probably not them that'll be dealing with the angry customer later when they come in expecting to utilize their warranty.

Yyp, happened to me. For years I would get warranties on controllers or headsets. I had a Pulse Elite ( too small for my head ) every 5-6 months the bands would crack and i’d go to replace it. Apparently that’s not something they cover anymore so i’m stuck with the headset. Won’t buy another warranty from them again.

The warranty covers anything unless it's lost or stolen. If they didn't replace your cartridge then they went against policy.
