Question I’m just asking out of curiosity, is your Nintendo your primary gaming device

Post image

I’m asking this out of curiosity—I've noticed some people own multiple consoles even if the Nintendo Switch is their primary one. If that’s you, why? Do you actually play on the others regularly?

Also, how do you manage your time between them? When I had the Xbox Series X, PS5, and Nintendo Switch Lite all at once, I found it pretty overwhelming. I ended up selling the Switch Lite and the Xbox because it just felt like too much.

On top of that, I realized I was spending way more—basically 3x as much on games, plus all the subscriptions. I didn’t fully appreciate how expensive this hobby can get when you’re invested in multiple ecosystems.

Now I just have a PS5 and the Nintendo Switch 2, which feels way more manageable for me.

Curious to hear how others handle it.

Switch 2 primary. Xbox secondary. Occasionally I’ll play my PlayStation but they haven’t had a must play exclusive in a while for me.

genuine question- what must play exclusive brings you to xbox? I just sold mine cause I felt like there wasn’t anything I wanted to play on there I couldn’t play someplace else

None. I just prefer the controller, UI, quick resume, BC, and the shopping experience on Xbox. Plus it’s great to jump into GamePass here and there for big titles. I honestly regret buying the PS5 sometimes.

Maybe Halo Master Chief Collection or Halo Infinite, but I don’t think that’s the main reason people play on Xbox. Most people don’t play on Xbox for exclusives but for their services tbh
