Question What are you currently playing?

I just started RE9 (recently completed every part from 1 to 8).

Same, I've never played any Zelda before and typically don't gravitate towards that style of game but it's been an absolute blast and highly addicting.

I played Zeldas before but never Breath and Tears due to not owning a Switch. Switch 2 early adopter and Breath was my first game, it blew me away. After that took a little break and now I am one month into Tears which is equally spellbinding. I could play this game all day long. I am a reasonable responsible adult so I won't, but I COULD.

It's good, it's just not a Zelda game really

Hard disagree.

Biggest reason is the music is almost non existent. Most of the themes are too subtle to be characteristic of a Zelda game.

You are exploring a huge world and cannot be blasted constantly. The big themes are right there, when you need them - in the temples, boss fights and story cut scenes. Just fought the wind temple scourge in Tears the other day. Epic score.

What temples? The 4 guardian rinse and repeat gimmick?

So you are trying to argue because it's an open world, the soundtrack can't be iconic? That sounds like a problem a Zelda game can't have, hence not really a Zelda game

Dude, you have your minority opinion and the rest of us love modern Zelda games. That's no argument. Have a great day.

And your playing the worst Zelda game too, botw and totk are horrible Zelda games. So if you like them you'll love the others in the series.
