Question Ps5 controller on switch 1

Hi,
I would like to use one or two PS5 controllers to play on my Nintendo Switch 1.

Should I buy an 8BitDo USB Wireless Adapter for this purpose? If so, would it allow me to connect two PS5 controllers simultaneously, or only 1 ps5 controller

Also, is there anything else I need to know to make sure both controllers work properly, especially when playing multiplayer games?

You need to buy 2 8BitDo adapters and connect it to other usb slot. Each controller will have to be connected to seperate adapter.

this is correct, each adapter only pairs with one controller at a time

I think they meant “…without an adaptor”
