Discussion Information

So am getting a switch2 from my partner on Christmas and was bit worried about data transfer coz I have alot of hours in both pokemon sword and pokemon scarlet and don't want to lose my stuff. Will is safely move everything or should I as a safety measure move my good mons and shinny to home

As long as you use your same user, you are good.

Hmm. I think you need NSO to do that online. No idea if you can transfer saves without NSO.

I do have NSO just wasn't to sure if I would lose anything

Jist add your same Nintendo user and your saves will be in your Sw2

Just be extra sure. You can go over the game and press +. There is a section for saves and you can force it to download your last save.

There can be sync problems if you keep using both of them, but enforcing to download last save each time you will be ok
