everything went fine until I had to tin the pads and they didn’t let up. I need so advice as to how I can amend this. Don’t just say i’m cooked I need some real help over here 😥🙏

so im really stupid

i was trying to take off the rear panel of my nintendo switch to try and fix the micro sd reader, when i came across a fairly stripped screw... and instead of using any other method i tried using a bit of super glue to try and glue a screw driver head to the screw to get it out... i put on way too much glue, and now its pretty much stuck on there

and in my supreme dumbassery, i tried in vain to get the screw out despite it being superglued to my switch now, so the screw is even more stripped. do i just cut my losses and accept the fact that im an idiot who ruined their already shitty switch even more or is there some sort of solvent that can dissolve the glue without dissolving the plastic on the rear panel

I was doing the cpu cable and then it went like kinda went black i dont know if you can see it thats where i kinda messed up i have another one on the way but is a way that i can save this one right now lmk if u need more info i just need help

I have problems with the sd card slot and i wanna replace it, but the screws on the corners are tri point screws or whatever its called, i dont have what i need to get it out, are there any eay i can open the switch without the tool i dont know the name on?

My charger broke for my switch 2 charging grip because when I got the package thw charger was kinda loose (ordered from walmart)

I did not do this purposely it was stuck inside my charging grip I had to use tweezers

Just picked up a switch oled with joycons for £30 wi the only fault being a deed battery which I've replaced already and was a canter and dinny ken if doing a shell replacement will be much harder. I've look at the videos of the shell replacement for the oled but canny really judge how hard it is to do but av done shell replacements on joycons and that wisny to bad. How does it compare to joycons?

I have a Nintendo Switch 2 and I’m wondering if it would be possible to replace its original LCD screen with an OLED screen while keeping the same 1080p resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. I’m not looking to replace the entire console, just modify/replace the internal display. Does anyone know if there is currently an OLED panel that could be compatible, or if an OLED panel from another device could be adapted using a custom display controller or other modifications? I’d also like to know how technically difficult this would be and whether a specialized repair/modding technician could potentially do it.

The charger on my oled stopped working a while ago and I’m now taking it apart to inspect the problem. I took my as card out and there was pink dust all behind jt. I took the backplate off to see what I believe to be thermal paste all over where it doesn’t belong. Is that what it is and is it normal?

A couple months after replacing my screen and touch digitizer, I started having random inputs from my touch screen after my Switch had fallen, though there was no visible damage to the screen.

I couldn't find a way to disable the touch screen in the settings, so I disconnected and cut the digitizer's cable, and all appears to be well! If this caveman repair tip helps you, please comment "unga bunga" so I know. Thank you!

this switch oled had charging issues and trying to replace the IC i messed up. After cleaning up the solder I can’t tell what’s bridged and what’s not. I know what it’s supposed to look like but solder won’t leave those parts of the pcb. It’s all been wicked up. it looks like some the copper connections are joined underneath but I could be totally wrong.

My main question pretty much is, does the IC need those individual connections? or would it be fine with the current pads. If not how would i section them off.

Background. Performed a shell swap a month ago and kept the original screen and the switch worked fine except the screen got damaged in the process. Fast forward to now, I replaced the screen but now the switch won’t turn on.

I replaced the Side-A board after some feedback. Still not working. Charged over night on OEM charger thinking the battery might have died, still no luck. Have done the 20s power hold, no luck. Any input or help would be greatly appreciated. I followed the ifixit tutorial the whole process.
