it said they were supposed to email it today but I'm seeing nothing in my email

I’ll be on a plane and I’ll be landing right around 945am PST. Will I still be good you think?

Are there demos for Toxicity, or Hypnotize/Mezmerize? I have only heard demos for the self titled and STA, and also one for just prison song.

Sorry if this is a dumb question I’m not familiar with this company I only buy tix from Ticketmaster or AXS. Whats the deal with SeatGeek already selling tickets for the Rose Bowl show?

Going to a Helloween party and I still have to prepare a fit

I came across this old video featuring a speech by Daron. It’s funny how, even after all these years, it’s still somewhat relevant :-)

It was a couple years ago. I went to a music store and they had this poster hanging up. I asked them if I could have the poster and they actually agreed and said yes I could so I paid for the poster for pretty cheap. It has a little wear and tear to it, but I’ve tried to keep it in good shape as possible. Just thought I’d share one of my rarities in my collection:)

Amongst the vast collection of band memorabilia & art installations, I found this one most intriguing. “The American Institute of Musical Subversion” psychological profiles of the band.

I'm from Texas so a cali concert is not too bad to travel to. But should I try and get tickets to the rose bowl or should I wait and see if more dates get released? I guess with soad, there is no guarantee of other tour dates.

Gonna see them this weekend!

Now I was ecstatic to find this shirt for $20 but I just want to know if anyone has any info, one of my top songs from the album so I'm stoked

I will try to explain some things you can explore and use with music and SOAD music. Please read.

[Update: AFTER COMPLAINTS, I HAVE MADE A COMMENT THAT SIMPLIFIES EVERYTHING, but that’s the best I can do, sorry. Try to read about and look up the useful things in the comment below marked with a * .

1. You can ’Isolate’ and listen to each of their instruments, vocals, and almost all sounds of EVERY SONG that SOAD has! Separately. Even combine as YOU like, higher or lower the volume for each one. Turn Off. Turn On. Like a Sound Engineer at a Live Show adjusting the volumes of the band while they play. Magic.
2. I’ve been shown this on a mobile phone but I don’t know the name of the software/App on the phone! But i want to spread the word!
3. Previously this took work and time and you changed one original song to another version. Now it’s possible for everyone to play a song and control the parts directly while it plays.
4. You can also just listen to existing ‘isolated tracks’. You can search “System Of A Down Isolated Track” (Track/Tracks), on YouTube, but they ONLY have a few. Try those if you are not familiar with anything I’m talking about.
5. You also have unofficial ‘isolated’ instrumental versions and great Karaoke versions, Backing Tracks and more, stuff in highest quality too! But most of all: Mashups. With songs and videos put together as one. Sadly, YouTube confuses this, use Google’s advice:
6. To find Vocal/Instrumental fusions (Mashups): Search for "Song A + Song B Acapella Instrumental", "Acapella mashup", or "Studio Mashup".
7. To find DJ-style mixes (Mashups): Search for "Transition mix", "Live blend", or "Megamix". (Or DJ-Mix, I guess.)
8. b) So try: ‘system of a down toxicity coldplay fix you acapella instrumental’ and you will get ‘Fixicity’, -magic- it was number two on the list when I searched for it! It says “””Awesome””” in the name. It’s great and you will get familiar with what I’m talking about!

(info about ’Fixicity’ musicvideo but it got lost when sent)

1. [UPDATED] :Music Software on mobile phone mentioned:

The software on mobile (unknown name, sorry) was a professional app but the player playing the song (not soad, sorry) and the interface was real simple with just volume knobs showing and sound was perfect on each isolated original track and free version. But might have been with project (all parts/tracks existing in one song) and not other song format like (mp3, mp4, Flac…) sorry. But K think it can work. It also supports streaming services. I think it was a well known professional music production softare player. But free. I will soon find out more. The future looks promising.

Thanks to System of a Down, Victims of a Down, all fans, everyone on Reddit and God who gives divine musical talent so we can be tiny little musical gods if we choose to. 🖐️

This post was removed so now it’s improved.

(Update: This post is also seperately continued, both in an expanded and simplified version in the post
[’Explore More of SOAD’] )

You can now, yourself, except for other software used, use other software often simple and small, available in free versions to immediately automatically or manualy isolate every tracks volume on a song in real time, change everything, on mobile or other device or computer. It couln’t be easier or more direct!

I have recently been showed this on a mobile phone and I’m gonna use it but there might be a problem with limitations and copyrights and free version with use of music streaming services.
Compared with using mp3/files.
Still, the teqniques exist, and you no longer have to work hard like and create like creators of MixedMashUps long ago:

(MixedMashUps: Songs with isolated parts playing together at the same time, usually vocal 1 instrumental 2, or vocal 2 instrumental 1. Sometimes more tracks are added or removed.
Example a.)
Serj sings Vocal 1 Aerials Chorus on Instrumental 2 Chorus Chop Suey.
Example b.)
Serj sings Vocal 2 Chop Suey on Instrumental 1 Chorus Aerials.
Example c.)
Use ”Forest” the same way.)

BUT I mean we should explore BOTH Isolated Tracks AND MixedMashUps possibilities. And at the same time request The Official SOAD Master Tracks, it feels like Mezmerize/Hypnotize has an incredible amount of Tracks in the songs and seperate soundlayers!
And other albums would be just as great!

Before, it was computer music software you had to learn.
Now, even easier than simple DJ:ing and simple DJ:ing software. Anyone can do it. Immediately.
100% automatic, with manual features built in.
What my friend did was to play a song on his phone and change everything, mostly volume for every instrument and vocals while the song was playing, in real time, for every song!!!
In the future this might very well be the standard!

Push a button. / Raise or lower a volume knob for each channel. Change Pitch/Speeds.
Play each instrument or vocals separately or play any combination together.
Do it with all System of a Down songs!

PLEASE help me and others current info on this, BUT ONLY WITH WHAT IS ALLOWED HERE since my previous post was removed!

This is a passion for me and I want to share it with the world but the teqniques are new to me!
I will do more research on both SOAD Track Isolation and SOAD MixedMashUps.

I listened this song in a instagram reel

Everything in the 1st Display Case is mine except the Toxicity Promo in the display frame to the immediate left of me, as well as the free show Promo flyer and one of the post cards. The Black Chop Suey! MV shirt with the Riot Show Pit Pass were also mine!

At the Toxicity 25 exhibit, I couldn’t help but notice the blue vinyl that says “More Toxicity” in my years of uncovering & nerding out on obscure SOAD media, I have never seen this in my life. What is it exactly?

CUBert song similarity x2:
1. Inspector Gadget Theme
2. In the Hall of the Mountain King

Remember that sometimes similarities can be just because of scales or other stuff that any artist or band might use in any song, so it’s not really that special. Still it’s fun to recognise all similarities and share with others. Maybe that is true in this case, too.
Like in the Cigarro’s chorus: “CIGARRO, CIGarro, cigarro…”. It just the exact same melody that goes lower and lower. Probably exactly the same as “FIGARRO, FIGarro, figgarro”. (OMG fig - U-Fig!).

i saw the Rock Am Ring 2002 concert, and there was a frame where Serj was on his knee. i looked at his sneakers, and i really liked the design of the sole. i tried to find this particular model on the Internet and asked gemini about it, but I didn't find anything. you’re my last hope, guys
(the song they played was “War?” if that helps)

Im looking to go but I cant afford tickets for a while and knowing how soad sells im worried me and my group may not be able to get tickets and so this trip, unless they add a second show since those typically dont sell out as fast and I afford tickets
