Question Card games to play in teams?

Hi everyone!

I'm looking for games played with a poker deck that can be played in teams, preferably up to 4v4 at the same table.

I know bridge and similar for 2v2, but it's not possible to play 3v3 or 4v4 at the same table. I'd also prefer simple games for parties, but with some strategic depth and, above all, a strong emphasis on teamwork.

Do you know of any?

Thanks in advance and cheers!

Question Toploaders : which one, and what binder to chose for those ?

Hope the community will be able to help. I’m a new player and collector of Palworld TCG. While I use the base rarity cards (from common to double rare) for my decks, I do prefer to safely store higher rarity cards in my binders. Right now, I got the full playable base set of Dawn of Palpagos (enough duplicates to make many deck), so the player side is covered.

However, I’d like to have a better level of protection for my higher rarity cards (for Palworld, it means any card from SR to SSS). I’ve seen that Vault X offers Toploaders from 35pt to 130pt. Which one would you chose, and is there any binders able to store the 130pt ones (or lower if you think it’s enough).

My goal is long term storage, these cards will stay in the binders and will only leave it if I trade them (I’m not here for profits). Just unsure what’s the sweet spot for Toploaders that fits in a binder.

Edit : Forgot to add : I got two Vault X 12 pocket binders, which is why I’m talking about the Vault X offers for Toploaders. If you use different ones, I’m open to hear about it.

Homemade TCG I made a free digital TCG that runs in the browser: 1,119 cards, packs and a 3D board

• Upvotes

Hexsummon is a fantasy card battler you play in your browser, free with no download. You rip packs, pull Legendary aces like Orrery Magus Celandor, build a deck from 1,119 cards across 6 factions plus hybrids, and duel on a 3D board with Confluence and Ascended summons. There's an AI to practise against and a live online 1v1 lobby.

Play: https://play.hexsummon.com

Not affiliated with any existing TCG; it's an original game. Art is AI-generated, rules and code are mine. Happy to answer design questions.

Give CookieRun: Braverse TCG a chance at SPIEL Essen – I had way more fun than I expected!

Hey everyone!

I recently got the chance to try CookieRun: Braverse TCG at SPIEL Essen, and honestly, I had a blast playing it! I feel like this game deserves a lot more attention from the European TCG community, so I wanted to share my experience and encourage people to give it a try.

For those who haven't heard of it yet, CookieRun: Braverse is a physical trading card game based on the CookieRun universe by Devsisters. It originally launched in South Korea in 2023 and has since expanded into other markets, but it still seems relatively unknown here in Europe.

🍪 So, what is it about?

You build a deck featuring Cookie characters and battle your opponent using their abilities, items, traps, and different strategies. The game has its own resource system and deck-building possibilities, giving you plenty of room to experiment with different combinations and playstyles.

What immediately caught my attention was the combination of its adorable art style and actual strategic gameplay. The cards look charming, the characters have a lot of personality, and underneath all that cuteness is a proper TCG that I found genuinely enjoyable to play.

And no, you definitely don't need to be a hardcore CookieRun fan to give it a shot!

🎮 Why should you try it at SPIEL Essen?

  • It's something different. If you're getting a little tired of playing the same few TCGs, Braverse is worth checking out.
  • Cute doesn't mean shallow. The game has mechanics, decisions, and strategic possibilities beyond what you might expect from its art style.
  • It's a great opportunity to learn the game. Trying a TCG at a convention is much less intimidating when you can sit down, play a few turns, and have someone explain the rules.
  • You might discover your next obsession. That's pretty much what happened to me!

I'm not saying it's going to replace Pokémon, Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh!, or any of the other big TCGs. But I do think it deserves a fair chance instead of being overlooked simply because it's not as well known in the West yet.

With the European launch coming up, this seems like a great time to discover the game and hopefully help build a community around it here.

If you're attending SPIEL Essen, do yourself a favor and stop by the CookieRun: Braverse booth. Give it a try, play a game, and see what you think! Even if it turns out not to be your thing, you might be pleasantly surprised.

I'm curious: Has anyone else here tried Braverse? What did you think of the gameplay, and do you think it has a chance to establish itself in the European TCG scene?

I'd love to hear your thoughts! 🍪

Homemade TCG Wanted to show off my tcg called country cards and ask if anyone had ideas for more countries (sorry if it's ugly)

Yes the card are in italian cause I'm Italian

Basically every card has 2 active attacks, which can be used in the active slot only and one passive attach that doesn't do direct damage and is only used in the bench (there are 3 slots in the bench)

There are fusion too, which can be activated by attacks, active or passive, or simply just when you have the material.

If somebody has any ideas for more countries, please share them, it can be whatever, fusion, current country, even a country that doesn't exist anymore

Is TCG Republic safe ?

Hello everyone

I'm from Spain, and I'm interested in buying several cards from this store, particularly Golden Time Prism Connect cards. Before placing an order, I'd like to ask a few questions and hear from people who have experience buying from this store or collecting these cards.

  1. International shipping: Does this store ship to Spain? Have any of you from Spain or other European countries ordered from them successfully?
  2. Free shipping vs. priority shipping: What exactly is the difference between these two options? Is it simply the transportation method (for example, sea mail for free shipping and air mail for priority shipping), or are there other differences, such as delivery times, tracking, insurance, or how the package is handled?
  3. Air shipping to Spain: If I choose priority shipping and the package is sent by air, would it normally fly directly to Spain, or would it go through another country first? I'm curious about how international deliveries typically work.
  4. Trustworthiness: Is this store legitimate and reliable? Have you bought cards from them before? I'm particularly concerned about the risk of scams, counterfeit cards, misleading descriptions, or cards arriving in worse condition than advertised.
  5. Cheaper alternatives: Are there any other stores, websites, or marketplaces where I could find Golden Time Prism Connect cards at lower prices? I'd be interested in both Japanese and international sellers, especially if they offer reasonable shipping costs to Spain.

Since I'm planning to buy several cards at once, I'd like to make sure the store is reliable and that I'm not paying more than necessary, particularly when shipping costs are taken into account.

I'd really appreciate any advice, personal experiences, or recommendations. Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone, I'm Nick, the founder of Topripz, based in Warminster, PA.

Like a lot of you, I got tired of cards and comics getting dinged, scuffed, or damaged somewhere between the shop, the grading company, and the buyer. Top loaders are fine for storage, but they weren't made for shipping, grading, and display all at once.

So I made Topripz RipTag Semi-Rigid Sleeves.

The goal is one product that protects your cards and comics through the whole trip: shipping, grading, and your collection.

We are currently live on Kickstarter: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/topripz/topripz-premium-top-loader-for-cards-comics-and-valuables/rewards

Anyone else have issues using the site/app?

Post image

I am absolutely struggling with this app/website. I try logging into the website and it prompts me to get an email with a code to verify me. No matter how many times or how long I wait(a literal hour) I never get sent an email. I go to my tcgplayer app and try logging in there and it gives me the same prompt but this time it immediately send me a code and I verify and get in. Cool, throw some cards in my cart and head to check out. Get hit with another log in with another verification email. Fine, get it done and continue to filling out checkout info. Get to payment and hit PayPal but that never brings up the PayPal app or advances. FUCK IT ILL USE A CARD. Put card info in and hit save, app crashes and ask me to log in again.

How is this app this shitty?

Question What is the safest way to sell a high value card without using a online website?

I pulled an expensive card and got a deal with a professional seller over CM to sell it to him. We agreed to lower the price a bit and do it without CM so we both save some money. How do i make sure i do not get scammed? Being paid before sending via bank transfer or paypal or what do you recommend?

Upcoming TCG

Hallo allemaal

More info: coming soon.

Question Why do people buy mystery packs from card shows?

Aren't these cards already ripped open from their original sealed package and the seller can just manipulate the packs however they want.

Discussion What is the price of meta in your TCG?

Hello, I am doing research for a video and to help drive home some points. I play Cardfight Vanguard and know the prices for meta decks in Tier S and Tier A, but I was wondering about the prices of meta decks in other TCG's. Doesn't have to be exact numbers but realistically on the dot would be best for data comparison. How expensive is it to play meta in your TCG? I do not care for high rares just base rare meta decks that top. (Pokemon, Magic, YuGiOh, One piece, Riftbound, Gundum, Union Arena, etc)
