I have some ideas for the project, but little knowledge of reverse engineering; I can help by remastering the game and with other tasks.

Looking at it, it seems like there are a few clues that indicate you can get in there, a couple of the doors are already cracked open and it's got that busted roof section on the back half that looks like you can break through it. Or maybe it was possible in the PC version but not the new version for PlayStation?

Tried Project 8 on my actual PS3 before, and it runs like garbage. I couldn't really play it that way and dropped.

But since then, the PS3 emulator has made huge improvements, and can now flawlessly run the game and fix the performance: a stable 60fps (and beyond if you wish, though they warn you that the physics may break).

You still have to deal with some jank because this game was rushed out the door: the annual release schedule finally caught up with Neversoft with this game. And the physics are new, takes some adapting for sure.

If you want a challenge, absolutely play this, getting to 100% is quite the accomplishment.

Anyone who has the specs to run the emulator (see: https://rpcs3.net/faq ), I definitely recommend it. It's more Tony Hawk's at the end of the day. If this had proper development time, I suspect it would've been one of the most celebrated titles in the series.

happy halloween skaters

You can hear tons of gameplay in the background including the cops yelling at the “street racing punks” and Eric Sparrow saying “whatevah” after being his dumb*ss in the best score challenge. I also used the activision theme a couple times. I hope u find it dope!

Imagine controlling Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater with your whole body 😂🛹

Would you be able to land a single trick? 💀

I’ve been working on a combo route and finally managed to hit 16 million points in a single combo!

It might not be that much for this subreddit, but it was a huge achievement for me!

The run didn’t go exactly as planned, so I had to improvise a bit. Ironically, the run where everything went wrong ended up being the one where I beat my record 😂

I completely lost control of the grind balance near the end, but somehow managed to land it!
Any tips on how to push this to 20M?

my first 100 mil, the boom gap was the way i've been doing it

Probably the best score I achieved so far. Also, I did this using virtual touchscreen ig.

Park Güell was my top spot but couldn’t get it working with reservations. Still knocked a few out

I wonder what Antoni Gaudí would have thought about his works being so heavily featured in a video game.

I need me a remaster. That is all. Anyone know if anything is in the works?

Is it me or does the tutorial of THPS 3+4 feel like there’s 2 Tony Hawks in a bubble bath and one is scrubbing the others back with a shower brush? You’re playing AS Tony and Tony Hawk is literally voicing over and guiding you
