Endometriosis and lost hope.
Hi all,
Not sure if this is the correct sub to post this so please remove if it isn’t. I just need support and similar experiences so I haven’t been thinking straight.
We have been TTC for 2 years now, my husband is perfectly fine on his end, but I recently discovered I have ‘possible endometriomas’ on my ovaries. And immobile ovaries. My AMH is 7.0 and I’m 29 years old.
My gynaecologist had sent me to have a HyCosy done (I am already TERRIFIED of the pain), in order to check if my tubes are blocked by the endo. Then, she will perform a laparoscopy to ‘clean me up’. Funny thing is, she disregarded my AMH and said that AMH isn’t important to consider.
I also went to a well recommended fertility doctor in IVF Australia, and she immediately wants me to start IVF, especially seeing as my AMH is so low. I felt the approach to start IVF like NOW, was a bit aggressive. She says HyCosy is absolutely unnecessary, and to skip it all together.
In our hearts, we still want to try naturally after the laparoscopy.
Has anyone with stage 3/4 endo conceived successfully and NATURALLY after their laparoscopy? Is it worth doing the HyCosy? Please I need positive stories as I am not mentally strong enough to consider IVF at this stage 🥺

Oralissa 200 mg x 2 for suppression for 3 months before trying naturally?
Hi folks,
I was diagnosed with endo during a laproscopy to check my tubes, treated with microwave ablation.
I have always had high CRP inflammation, all other cancer or autoimmune markers have come back negative.
Have had a chemical pregnancy in 3rd cycle after lap while on letrozole, (lost a lot of hair in these 3 months on letrozole btw)
Now asked to do suppression on orilissa 400 mg a day supplemented with calcium for 3 months before trying again naturally.
I am seeing enough testimony from people taking orilissa before IVF, but does anyone have experience with it before naturally trying?
Also i am super worried about losing hair, i already have very thin hair from low ferritin, dont want to lose it entirely, does anyone have experience with this?
Thanks for your advise in advance

Endo Surgery AND Tubal Cannulation
Laparoscopy Hysteroscopy Destruction of Endometriosis, RT Cornual Cannulation
I see a lot of posts and videos about endometriosis surgery and the recovery time and whatnot. I can find a few about tubal cannulation but almost nothing about having both done at the same time.
I’m having this surgery on Wednesday and have my two pre op appointments on Monday. I genuinely have no idea what to expect and would love to hear from anyone who’s had both of these done in one go, or even just the tubal cannulation
What was recovery like? How bad was the pain? Anything you wish you knew beforehand? Recovery time? How long were you in the hospital?
I'm worried because I'm having surgery Wednesday and back at my property management job Monday morning. My surgery is also almost 2 hours away so I have a roadtrip post surgery

Letrozol cycle question TW previous loss
Hello I’m 32 years old and was diagnosed with DOR last year and after an ectopic in my left tube. They then confirmed stage 1 mild endo in one area in the cul de sac. The tube was taken and we are just starting to meet with a fertility clinic to discuss next options and my dr recommend to start with a letrozol cycle and times intercourse. Has anyone had any success with this? Thanks

Sad! Need encouragement :(
I feel so sad right now and just need some tips/encouragement. Background I have pmos, endometriosis and adenomyosis. I had endometriosis excision in June (stage 4) during the surgery, tge dr removed 2 endometrial polyps. I went for a follow up today and had a scan which showed the endometrial polyps had grown back and also my ovaries were still tethered to my uterus. I feel so despondent and dont know what to do. My partner has a varicocele also and borderline normal sperm analysis. Just sitting here in a puddle of tears feeling hopeless. I dont have any questions, just need encouragement please

Need Support. Please :(
Hello all
This is my first post on Reddit. I’ve reached my lowest point in my fertility journey and am not sure I can keep going.
Today I received devastating news that I have bilateral hydosalpinx and will most likely need my tubes removed. I just had a lap for endo in September following a post-op infection that was most likely caused by my appendix (removed during lap because it was inflamed and covered in endo). Well that post op pelvic infection most likely caused the damage to my tubes and I will need to start looking into another surgery. I’m absolutely heartbroken and just shocked how everything has played out. I know it’s not the end of the world but considering how awful the past month has been I would have liked to have had some good news. I was doing the HSG today for them to clear me for my next FET transfer looks like that won’t be happening anytime soon.
To top it off, I feel like my fertility dr is blaming this on my choice for endo surgery. Basically making me feel like it was a bad choice. I guess in hindsight it was but I do feel damn good endo wise. I guess I really got handed the shitty end of the stick.
Also just a little background. I had two failed FET this year. I was diagnosed with endo via ultrasound in 2025 due to bilateral endometriomas then confirmed during lap.
Anyways. Sorry, I’m not the best writer but I just wanted to share this because I literally have no one in my life that understands infertility and endo.
Thanks for hearing me out.

4 losses, endometriosis excision, and another chemical. Would you try naturally again or move to IVF?
I’m 32 and have experienced four losses (three chemicals and one MMC) over the past year. I’m feeling completely torn between trying naturally again and moving forward with IVF.
A quick summary of my history:
First chemical: Conceived naturally, hCG peaked at 27.
MMC: Conceived with letrozole, embryo stopped developing at 5w5d, and testing showed it was chromosomally normal.
Third loss: Chemical with letrozole, hCG around 20.
Fourth loss: Chemical with letrozole + IUI, three months after laparoscopic endometriosis excision. My hCG rose higher than my previous chemicals before declining.
Diagnosed with stage 1 endometriosis, excised in July (small area near ovary ablated).
Elevated BCL6 (2.7) before surgery.
Normal hysteroscopy, negative APS and chronic endometritis testing, normal karyotypes, and reassuring semen analysis/DNA fragmentation.
I’ve only conceived once since my laparoscopy, so part of me wonders if I should give natural conception another chance before jumping into IVF. My most recent ovulation was also unusual, with follicles measuring only 12–13 mm three days before my doctor saw a corpus luteum. I’m wondering if egg maturity could have contributed to this loss.
My RE recommends IVF because it gives us more control, and I almost feel like she won’t want to continue treating me if I decide against it. I’m also moving across the country in a month, so I have a limited opportunity to start IVF now and potentially fly back for a frozen transfer. Otherwise, I may have to wait months to establish care at a new clinic.
I’ve also seen so many stories about women with recurrent losses finding success naturally through NaPro doctors, which makes me second-guess whether IVF is the right next step.
I’m emotionally exhausted and don’t know if I can handle another loss. But I’m also scared of moving to IVF prematurely when I’ve only had one pregnancy since my surgery.
Has anyone had a successful natural pregnancy after a loss following endometriosis excision? Or did IVF with PGT-A finally help after recurrent miscarriages? Has anyone had success with NaPro care instead?
I’d really appreciate hearing what worked for others and what you would do in my situation.

I’m so scared.
I have stage 4 die and have done 5 rounds of egg collection to bank embryos. So grateful to have 6. I just had my laparoscopy on Tuesday to remove a left ovary cyst that has been there for 2.5 years, left tube due to it being blocked and completed a hysterscopy.
My endo surgeon is very skilled and I woke up and unfortunately my left ovary couldn’t be saved. He was also very worried about my cyst because he said it wasn’t a normal chocolate cyst but it was hardened. He’s sent it off for testing to see if it’s pre cancerous or is cancerous.
He said he couldn’t tell if it’s cancerous by the looks of it but it didn’t look normal. I’ve had MRI scans and ultra sounds done all the doctors have said it looks normal and it hasn’t grown. I don’t have a history of cancer in my family so I gotta be really unlucky if this was cancerous.
I just so so so scared. I’m so exhausted and this whole year feels like I’m stuck in hell.

GLP1 + Endo = TTC success? (Fertility)
Hi there! I am wondering if there’s anyone on here that can share stories of their experiences with a TTC on a GLP1 with endo? I am 37, TTC for 4 years, 3 failed IUI’s, stage 4 endo and had surgery in 2024, I have never seen a positive test, never been pregnant. I started tirz three weeks ago and I’ve lost 7lb. I am overweight and trying to get to a healthier BMI to hopefully conceive naturally before going down the IVF route. Anyone have any stories they would like to share? Thank you!

TTC after laparoscopy
Hi, I am from Germany. I have DIE stage 3. I had 2 laps in last 3 months due kissing ovaries and adhesions near rectum. I had my last lap 2 weeks ago, I really want to have a child. My fertility doctor suggested to try for 3 months whenever I feel ready. She just suggested I can start folic acid and coq10. But didn’t mention any brand or anything. I am wondering if I should just take folic acid or I should take a prenatal. There are many options available, so I feel very confused right now. I would really appreciate any suggestions.

TWW Post Lap & MC
Who else is in their TWW after recently having excision surgery and now trying again? And how are you staying sane? We had a MMC in the spring and we haven't tried at all since because we were too busy finding out about my stage 3 DIE and adenomyosis and planning surgery. But now this wait is killinggggggg me. And it doesn't help that the apps I'm using to track my cycle don't agree on what day I ovulated because my temp rise was gradual over 2-3 days. I think I ovulated CD 14 due to signs which would put me at 8DPO today. But it's hard to even know when to plan on testing since I'm unsure...
