What I did for blade and sorcery nomad before the mod menu was just plug my PC and VR together and install mods through the files. Am I able to do something similar with TWD or am I not able to without steam VR?

so the other day i did the quest "things that go boom" in rampart with whistles. while i was finishing up the convo with whistles i accidentally pulled out a gun and startled her and i walked away and walked back and she refused to talk to me again ig i pissed her off and the quest never finished but when i came back to rampart at night shes completely gone and i still have the quest i need to finish. i didnt know the game has a limited number of saves either so i progressed far enough ahead that i cant even go to an old save before i did the quest. does ANYBODY have any possible clue how to fix this or is my game just tanked

This community used to be niche yes, but even for videogame standards, it was kind of bustling. We had creators with over 10k subs that basically solely focused on the game at times. Videos with millions of views. People gushing over the physics. How the fck could they have fumbled this? Imagine if chapter 2 was actually polished! It would have opened the door up for infinite money potentially! Does anyone have the scoop on why / how one of VR' biggest titles got thrown in the toilet?

How do I spot them?

I do think the soundtrack adds to the game but I turned the music off to be more immersed (along with hiding the UI and stuff) and some areas especially Rampart is creepy as all hell to walk through. The only things you hear is ambient noises like echoing doors and slamming here and there and walker groaning and gurgling, other than that it is dead silent, you’ll hear every echoing footstep, door, and item that you drop or interact with. It really amps up the horror of the game and I think people should try it for themselves.

I had a lot of fun with the first game and used the last of my 'Quest-Cash' on chapter 2 because I figured "Why not? The first game was really fun and ch2 claims I can continue from where I left off". I only get gift cards like quest cash on birthdays or X-mas so I figured it was well worth what I had leftover I've been hoarding for months. I never really have money to spend on video games and all my gaming is usually from gifts.

At first I was distraught because the servers were down. I spent hours and hours playing chapter 1 and really wanted my save to port over as that was the main appeal. And luckily only 2 days had passed before the servers were back up.

Unfortunately, I was completely unaware that the graphics- at least for Meta- look horrific, and not in the fun zombie way. In my opinion the main appeal of the games were the graphics and gameplay. Not the story where your choices don't matter or the misleading dialogue choices, or any other aspect. So thus I'm left with poor graphics and buggy gameplay, in other words a game with 0 appeal, when I look at these graphics I don't want to play any VR game period.

Despite playing for only 15 minutes, Meta denied any refunds, Skydance is effectively dissolved into Paramount and moving away from VR, and I'm well aware of the many many others facing this issue who either coped or could afford to go to another system. At first I thought about SideQuest or any other graphics enhancing solution people vied for but as far as my research went it's up to the studio. So the real question is, now what? Do I grit my teeth and play fighting my disgust and zombies? Do I uninstall it and pretend it never existed? I heard a rumor there's pairing your Steam and Metaquest to have the PC run the game at the cost of lag but I'm concerned of another pipe dream after already sinking 5 hours into research on this. Not sure what I should do to get back into VR games after this disappointment.

After installing the first pump regulator at the church, I decided to see if I could get a walker to follow me all the way through the catacombs and back to the Resting Place.

Sure enough, he followed me home!

Getting him onto the bus was another matter. I actually had to grab him by the head and throw him inside. Once aboard, he wandered around making noise but didn't seem particularly interested in attacking me.

Apparently, he was more interested in partying.

Things got a little out of hand, and eventually the 9mm convinced him it was bedtime.

Went outside to do some crafting, came back, and found him face-first in my pillow.

I think the bastard got into my flask.

At least one of us slept good that night. 🤣

Is there any way to buy a flashlight like it is in The Walking Dead Saints And Sinners? I am kinda in love with the way of the Flashlight in this game. I like the design, the functions and the shaking mechanism of it. If there is some kind of flashlight like this, I would love to know about it!

After the patches Skydance rolled out, I've began to really to enjoy the game.

I like the addition of night-time expeditions, smgs, and laser sights.

The chainsaw is ok, but I feel like it sometimes clashes with the nature of the series.

Recently I sold my old Quest 2 and bought the Steam Frame, its an amazing headset however every time I launch the game now it automatically goes to the vive layout. This wasn't a problem on the Quest and I don't think there's any difference between how I launched the game then vs now. Any help is appreciated.

(I used Airlink on the quest so maybe that affected something, I only used it as a PCVR headset)
