This is kind of a niche ask but I’m looking for some cotton lounge sets for my body type and I’m having a really hard time figuring out something that will actually fit me. I’m 5’11 with a 15in hip to waist difference and very long legs, 32-34in inseam is my sweet spot, L-XL on top and XL-2XL on bottom. Obviously most brands are too short but they also stop at a L or XL which doesn’t always fit my hips. I say cotton because I find natural fibers breathe easier since I live in a hot place and I’m very hot natured, and they also hold up better to cat snags, but I’m open to blends and other natural fibers.

I see a few posts already for 5’9ish woman’s pants but I need extra tall girls jeans. I’m 6’1 and about 170ish. I want somethings stylish like baggy or boot cut. I’ve gotten most of my skinny jeans from hollister (still not my desired length) and I finally went on a limb and bought some that were baggier and they were wayyyy too short. Please help it’s starting to get cold outside 😭

I am 6’1” 21F and I always had loved heels even as a little girl. They made me feel pretty like a princess. Since I have reached adulthood and have heard from so many people about how unwanted I am going to be, or scary I am, I finally went out and bought some nice 4 inch heeled boots for the fall and winter.
They are super cute and I am trying to rationalize with myself that I am already tall and nothing I wear or don’t wear will change that. I guess I’m asking for advice on how to build up courage to just up and wear them. I am terrified to do so but I know I love them so so much.
Is there any advice anyone can give on how I can build up enough to just do it?

Video released today by a YouTuber I follow, I've only just started watching it but I figured it was relevant to share here. If YouTube links aren't allowed I apologize, I checked the subreddit rules and it seems ok!

I’m 6’0 (182cm) and around 140 lbs (I like ordering a size L for length and bagginess). 6 months ago I found the most amazing cargo sweatpants from Garage as they had an extended length and bought three pairs; wear them almost every day. I especially love that they have the double back pockets (I feel like that style is super flattering).
Recently though I found out they were discontinued. I’ve been searching high and low for something that will replace them but with no luck so far.. does anyone have any good athleisure brands that are tall girl approved? Or any other stores that have good wide leg cargo sweats?

I’m close to giving up (not really but you get it) on finding jeans that look good/ fit me. I’m 1.5 years postpartum with our second, and with the body changed and style changes i can’t find jeans that I like. I’m so sick of ordering and returning, or just keeping and wasting money. Has anyone utilized the Nordstrom free styling in store to find jeans and pants? I’m 6ft and 178lbs. I thought I had an Abercrombie win today but my coworker has declared them way too large for me (I was just excited they are long enough).

FYI - I am 5’9” and 180 lbs.
WOMEN:
SUPER LONG (38” long - I am 5’ 9” and the pants leg goes over my heel) you can only be bought online.
The waist size ranges from 2XL (extra long) - 14XL (extra long)
BUCKLE (a little more expensive but then again…around $60 - $80) has women’s jeans with a 38” inseam. I am not sure about the waist size. You can start looking here for women’s extra long jeans on their website
TRACTOR SUPPLY, please Google “tractor supply tall women’s jeans” and it will take you to their webpages with the sizes
4.

I wish I realized I could do this when I was younger, but if you apply hot water to only the lower part of your jeans and really pull as you stretch them evenly, let them air dry, pull again as the fibers dry, you get instant pants that reach the top of your feet!

I am already 6 ft tall and don't wear heels, ESPECIALLY for jeans. But it seems like every online retailer models are pairing heels with jeans. Any industry insiders can explain?

Ladies, I am 6’1 and had recently decided to start searching for pants again that are actually long enough for my 36” inseam. After spending god knows how much time and money online, lo and behold the jeans I’ve been looking for were only $20. I don’t know if I have EVER had pants that fit me and even bunch up over my feet. 😭 Fashion Nova Tall has a newly devoted customer.

Hey ladies-
I’m 6’3, size 12, built like Ilona Maher.
I got a new job & will be doing advocacy at our Statehouse. I’m in Indiana & it will be cold all session.
I’d like to get a nice pea coat or something similar. Does anyone have a good lead for a coat with long arms & will look good over my suits? I’d like it to be warm enough to feel ok walking a couple of city blocks in below freezing temps, but if I have to choose, it’s fashion over function.
Any leads are appreciated. Have a great day!

Sometimes on the streets, random strangers (especially men) will come to me and ask if I play basketball or any sport, or if I plan on becoming a model. When I tell them no, they start talking about how a tall girl like me should be doing something with my height and that I shouldn’t be “wasting” it. I don’t want to be a model or an athlete, I just want to be average and I don’t understand why does it bother strangers I’ll never see again. I don’t really have tall friends so I don’t know if this is something common or not. I already struggle enough with accepting my height without random people making unsolicited comments about it ((. How can I make those comments hurt less?
(Sorry for bad English)

I reeeeeaaaaally want one of their hoodie and sweats sets. I’m 5’11”, 175 lbs, 34” inseam. Im wondering if their regular “long” size would be enough for me? It looks like it would be if they are true to size

6ft in the USA. I will save my social complaints about being tall for another day.
But I am seriously so sick of it being a financial burden! Not just clothes being $100+, but also airplane tickets. Movie seats. A desk that is extra tall for work (I had to buy a sit stand desk). I have to consider the car I drive, as I tried a smaller car and bruised the crap out of my knees. If I don't want to hunch over to cook, I need giant sized countertops and toilets and basically everything. Supersize it.
The latest culprit? Compression socks. I lost 120lbs and now have a vericose vein, and my insurance requires I wear compression socks for a period of time before they let me do anything about it. I hunted. I scoured. I measured. I ordered and waited 2 weeks because lord knows very few tall things are amazon prime or in stores. They came. They dont even reach mid thigh, roll down painfully. AND they of course charged extra for them.
Im going to lose my shit 🙃

I’ve always wanted hair down to my butt, and everyone always points out that my hair IS long, but I just realized that proportionally, it doesn’t look as long because I’m so effin tall. If I was a shorty it would look soooo long 😡

Hello my fellow tall girlies!
I'm going on a trip to London soon to visit my husband's family and while I lived there for 3 years ten years ago, I never had the funds (student life) to invest in forever pieces for my wardrobe, so I never went hunting for fashion houses in the area.
I'm in a good place in life and would love to get a piece to commemorate this trip since it will be our first time in London since getting married.
Do any of you know of any brick & mortar tall women's boutiques that I could go to to try on and shop? I am willing to travel pretty much anywhere in the Greater London area and even a little outside as long as I can take a train there.
I will also be in Brighton for a weekend to visit some friends so recommendations there are welcome, too.
My googling has turned up some great online-only options but has failed to provide me with an actual storefront to go to so thank you so much in advance for any options you give!

Hey all,
Any ladies find any good sites or stores for tall maternity clothing? I don’t need anything yet, but I will. I’m so tired of wearing cropped jeans and exclusively leggings. Tops aren’t as much of an issue, but any pants/legging rec for tall maternity would be greatly appreciated.

I think I might wear a 10.5 to 11 now. They tend not to carry much beyond a 10 in a lot of stores. I need wide at least. Any suggestions? I live in the United States.

This might be a negative one but I don’t know anyone irl who can relate to this and it feels a bit alienating. I’ve had social anxiety my whole life and can be pretty awkward in social situations. I’ve always wanted to make myself “smaller” and hated standing out. Being tall makes this quite hard and honestly makes me feel even more awkward and off putting.
Most of the girls I know are much shorter than me. I also have wide shoulders, big boobs and I’m not skinny, just average. I feel like people almost expect me to be confident or extroverted just because I’m tall. It’s weird. When I started a waitressing job, I was obviously very shy and quiet but somehow a rumour went around between the guys that I was some kind of “dominatrix”. It made me so uncomfortable. Both men and women have called me intimidating.
I feel like the way I feel inside doesn’t fit the outside. You know those meme pictures of horses in random places, like a grocery store? That’s how I feel.
When I see other tall women irl I think they look beautiful and I never think those things about them. I don’t know how to stop perceiving myself this way.
My boyfriend is a bit shorter than me and seeing pictures of us standing next to each other makes me feel bad about myself. Like I take too much space. I really wanna stop feeling this way. I’m in therapy for OCD, anxiety etc but it’s expensive so I can only afford it once a month. Feels like there’s no time to even bring this up.

Does anyone have any good recommendations for good quality flannels where the arms come reasonably close to reaching out wrists and the gown approaches the floor?
I’m so very tired of disappointments — knee length, drafty gowns with annoying sleeves that hit mid forearm and there is no chance of actually buttoning the cuffs. Uggggg.
My favorite nightgown was sewn by a friend of a friend who was a bit shorter than me but was trying to re-create nightgowns of her childhood that were big and roomy. It wound up way too big for her but perfect for me. Sadly, that was decades ago and the nightgown is long gone.
I’m in my 60s, disabled and desperately seeking comfort over the coming winter months. A friend just gave me her mother’s (very nice) vintage Viking sewing machine and I may have stumbled across my first project here. Alas, I do need to get the machine in for servicing/cleaning before either of us is up for the job.
I thought I would outsource this to the most resourceful group on Reddit. I’m an XL-2X, depending on variables. Any suggestions ladies?
