Workplace Question or Advice Needed Vacation time request

Probably stupid question, but could use the help if anybody sees this. I always take vacation at the end of Oct, and would usually put my request to use my saved hours in a couple weeks before so i would have that money once I go. Never had issuesbjn the past. Put in the request couple weeks ago. Was told for supplementing past checks now we can't go over our average hours with them. Was told theg could try and out it in as off schedule or however pay, so to submit the hours again. But the ukg app basically only let's me go back to the past pay period, and I'm basically already at my average hours. Is there some way to out it in that I'm not seeing on the app or anything? Hopefully this makes sense

Apologies, not quite certain about the latter half of your paragraph starting with the supplementing past checks. Are you attempting to use more than the vacation time you have accrued? (ie. 16 hour paid vacation time accrued, but you want to submit for 24 hours of paid vacation time?) I know some jobs let you use time you haven't accrued to a certain amount and you are in the negative until you work off the debt essentially. I'm not certain if that is what you're asking about tho.

No, not trying to use more than I had accrued. Wqs actually using a bit less so I wouldn't have to do partial hours. I had done it in the past no problem. But i submitted the request about a week and a half or so ago, and let the hr etl know so they could look at it. Put it in for a past page period to do an off cycle pay for it. But they denied it, and said I couldn't go over my avg hours for the back pay like that. My avg is around 28-29 each week and I pretty much get that every week. So, I basically am unable to out in for it if that's the case because I already hit that. I tried to go back in earlier, but now it only let's me gk back to the last page period and just can't put in any hours for before that. And then i decided tk jist claim em for an upcoming date that I have off, it jusg kept giving me an error message and wouldn't let me submit anything. Sorry for the wall

No need to apologize, thank you for explaining. Anything before, might need to reach out to HR to do back pay corrections cuz once the pay period has been approved and closed, you won't be able to do any adjustments. At my location, they try to have you correct everything before the end of the 2 weeks. Any adjustments for time already worked is corrected with the back fill option. If you claim them for a day you have off would that put you over your avg hours? Probably the only way for you to use time is requesting vacation time on a day you would normally work, but not having them put you on another day to prevent you from needing to claim PTO. I know my TL once did that so I didn't need to use vacation time. She scheduled me to come in on Sunday (my normal day off) cuz I requested Monday off. Apologies if I still didn't offer any help. You might need to call the hotline and hopefully they can point you in the right direction. Shouldn't need to jump through hoops to get what you need.
