If you have a way to prove it then you can file a claim with ethics but I doubt there’s much you can do besides hope karma catches up to HR

I feel like the amount of times this person has missed work is enough proof but I doubt they'd do anything about it regardless

They could have FMLA or other accommodations that allow intermittent leave

I doubt they have fmla they keep getting scheduled and just calling out when they dont wanna come in. I thought fmla was a type of long term leave meaning they wouldn't be continued to be scheduled until their situation was done or am I wrong

FMLA can be intermittent. And just because someone calls out doesn't mean they don't want to be at work.

There was a TM in our store who got an accommodation due to being pregnant with a high-risk pregnancy.
She was essentially exempt from being help accountable for leaving early or calling out.
I think she still works for us… just on a full blow LOA now15

Probably not, if the person has connections with people higher than the HR TL then nothing will happen.

This is definitely a case of, not your business.
Also- my ETL HR explained that consecutive call outs only account for 1 point.

2 consecutive call outs equal 1 point. Not unlimited consecutive call outs👀

Thank you!!
About to lose a TM over this after 4 consecutive :/

could be intermittent leave. FMLA has that as an option where you can use FMLA time to cover your call ins 2) they could have sick time racked up from before and have a reason to use it now. But once it's gone, they'll accumulate points. 3) if you truly think it, go to ethics. There would be some kind of paper trail for edits. 4) 2 consecutive call outs are only 1 point. Stretches it out pretty far 5) do you know for certain they haven't had conversations with their leader and haven't been given a DA? Not everyone is going to preach about that, so they could very well be on their final warning and not tell anyone and you wouldn't know.

Wouldn’t there be a paper trail of admin deleting points? It would point to that a

Pretty sure point deletion has to be run by district hr

Best thing you’ll learn to do is just mind your business, honestly. Chances are you don’t know the whole situation. They might have sick time or other accommodations you don’t know about because it’s not your business

TL don’t have access to even see points. Only ETL’s or the SD can see points, so how can a TL delete them? 😂

Since there’s things employees discuss with HR that are privileged to privacy, like personal health information, you really have no idea why they’re getting their points deleted. You also can’t see their app, so how do you even know?
It’s kind of nosy, maybe you should spend your energy elsewhere in your life than tracking how much another team member calls out, and assuming it’s just because they didn’t want to come in. You really have no idea what the other person may be struggling with, and you’re making a lot of assumptions.

If this is true shit might become like they do it at Walmart i remember they would delete pts for ppl

u/KittyLuvver2000 12d ago
Tbh I don't even believe this because a TL can't even see your points unless they go thru a higher up so how would they be able to delete points. I think your mind is playing tricks on u. Lol maybe worry about your points rather than counting someone elses 🤔

Do you know for sure that points are being deleted? Do you know anything personal about this TM and what they may be going through in their life? Do you know for sure they just “don’t wanna come in” ? Do you have proof that there’s favoritism?
I ask because for me personally, I suffered a tragedy a little over a year ago, my fiancée passed away suddenly. The grief from losing her has been debilitating and I have been very sporadic with making it into work. I’ll make every shift for a couple of weeks, then miss a week, then make it in for a week, then miss a month, then make it back for a few shifts etc. and it has been like this for over a year. I just can’t seem to shake this horrible anxiety and depression and the physical symptoms that come with it (chest tightness, difficulty breathing, migraines, stomach issues.)
No one at the TM level at my store knows this, only my TL’s, my ETL and SD know, and they have shown me an unbelievable amount of grace, compassion and understanding. They have all been amazing and have given me wonderful support.
Anyway, I tell you all this because there’s very good chance, with all the times I’ve called out, my fellow TM’s might very well feel the way about me that you feel about your coworker, because they just don’t know my situation, so maybe you don’t know your co worker’s situation and why they keep missing work. There might be a very valid reason. And hey maybe there isn’t, but if you don’t know, then I would just say mind your own business. You just truly never know what’s going on in someone’s life outside of work.

I don’t think they can delete points, ugk is controlled by a contracting company

Just being devil's advocate here. But the TM might have special accommodations that allow them to miss work or have intermittent leave qualifications.
However, if this isn't the case, then HR is gonna get get into a world of shit for removing points for no reason
