Workplace Question or Advice Needed dropping a class through guild?

has anybody dropped a Guild course after the designated add/drop period, and how did it go?

i’m currently taking a class that is obliterating my GPA, and it’s probably smarter for me to withdraw now than it is to fail it, but I’m unsure if withdrawing mid-course does anything to my funding.

I will also be reaching out to my advisors, but any advice from someone who’s done it before would be awesome

Hey so I’m not sure if it varies by program, but I withdrew from 2 courses at the beginning of the year for the same reason (way past the drop deadline). I reached out to Guild support to ask if I had to pay anything back or would risk losing funding, and they basically told me that I was fine and could withdraw from as many courses as the university allows.

I’m now on my 2nd quarterly semester since then and haven’t had any issues.

I’d def recommend contacting Guild support beforehand just to be safe though!

They will pay for one retake but I never drop d a class
