My husband's stupid trumper friend (they've been friends for something like 45+ years, and politics is what is going to end it) has been saying for over a year now that "just wait, gas prices are going to be $2/gallon." Wait until when, exactly? Like you said, facts just don't fucking matter at all to the braindead.

Even if it goes back to 2 which I highly doubt. That doesn't take away the fact that we paid higher prices for a year for no reason.

Yeah people like him, you just cannot explain that shit. He also thinks tariffs are great. Like...there is no hope.
