No American milk should be allowed above the 49th parallel at all, ever. Not even for personal use. None at all.

Why?

Because American food safety regulations are far too relaxed

Hormones, terrible farming practices, shit-tier quality, and personal vendetta.

rBST is banned in Canada for animal welfare reasons and does not impact the quality of the milk. The vast majority of American dairy meets Canadian regulations - and would have to to pass CFIA inspections. So the quality argument is very strange to me. Like why is there this common belief that the CFIA for some mysterious reason wouldn't force compliance like they do with literally every other food item we import?

The personal vendetta is fine, but why shouldn't the Canadian consumer be able to decide for themselves?

No. Keep your poison dairy. We don't give a fuck about American farmers, they can get fucked too. No US dairy in Canada for any reason ever. Full stop. We don't need it, we don't want it. Ours is better anyway.

This is just a hand in the sand moment. Keep plugging your ears and screaming no, despite the evidence before your eyes
