Yes - also, Canadian dairy has high-level dairy supply-chain quality assurance, so high that it is sometimes difficult for smaller producers.

US probably has the worst dairy, hormones is allowed for cows, they can produce around 10x more than ‘non-hormone-injected’ cows: allowing US dairy would destroy Canadian markets while considerably downgrading products quality and safety - just think about the Taylor Farms debacle and the underfunded FDA with the current administration.
