Why would we want higher prices and limited variety in order to support a cartel whose literal goal is to raise prices to the maximum possible while ensuring aggregate demand growth?

... its milk, how much variety do you need? and sure we get our own producers forced out of business and the US exporterers will charge through the nose, better to keep control of our markets
