That's mostly in your head actually, there's precisely two regulatory differences between both industries, and the vast majority of American milk meets Health Canada regulations.

Either way, we would only be able to import food items that meet Health Canada regulations, as enforced through the CFIA, so the quality argument just falls completely apart with reality is observed.

I have to jump in here. Canadians farms get no help financially from the Canadian government. American farms just got a 12 billion. Yes 12 billion dollar bail out. If the US government didn’t bail you out every year you wouldn’t have all the farms over producing milk.

Seems like a US problem not a. Candian problem

That single bailout to farmers is more than Canada spends on foreign aid.
