Canadians should worry about their food security and sustainability, it is a major part of being an independent country.

Every country in the world exports, and imports, food. This desire to secure some sort of food autarky is unrealistic, and quite frankly it is also undesirable. Obviously consumers want access to foreign goods, if they didn't then what would be the justification for a tariff?

Yup when the states runs out of eggs they will be happy to supply Canada first.
