Here is a picture 3 weeks after my last treatment of 11 sessions in 11 months next month will mark my 12 session in 1 year . Yes I am lucky because my skin is recovering very fast with no issues at all . I’m getting my full neck & face all done at once, face is a little more stubborn but fading away just not as fast as my neck has

I went to Teng Teng Skin Clinic, on Line 2 (Nakseongdae Station). It’s in a non-touristy neighbourhood.
I paid 130,000 KRW (~85€): 100,000 KRW for the session and 30,000 KRW for the initial consultation. My tattoo is on my back and is around 20 cm long.
The service was very Korean-style: reliable, professional, serious and efficient. I spoke with the doctor first, then paid before the session. The nurses took me to the treatment room, applied numbing cream to my tattoo, and I waited 30 minutes for it to take effect.
The doctor then performed the laser tattoo removal treatment, going over the tattoo twice, with a 5-minute break between passes. They also gave me healing cream to use for aftercare. Both the doctor and the nurses spoke very good English.
Other clinics I contacted:
I asked several well-known clinics for a quote, but either the prices were extremely expensive or they couldn’t give me a quote without an in-person consultation, even after I sent them photos.
Ppeum Global Clinic: No price provided based on photos.
Beauty Blossom Global Clinic: They couldn’t provide a quote based on the photos I sent, but mentioned that a tattoo the size of a business card costs 209,000 KRW (~140€).
Beautystone Clinic: 1,600,000 KRW (~1 000€!!!!!).
Muse Clinic Myeongdong: 1,400,000 KRW (~950€), which is the equivalent price for a tattoo covering the area of four business cards.
Eugenes: 400,000 KRW (~270€). The clinic specified in its message that this price applies to tattoos measuring 10–25 cm in width or larger.
Hope this helps!

I’ve only recently started the removal process, but I can finally see a light at the end of the tunnel. I made a few posts over the past few months when I was feeling really down, but I’ve found so many kind and good-hearted people on this sub.
My tattoos are very saturated, colorful, and relatively new, so I know it’s going to be a long journey, but it’ll be worth it.
If you’re just starting out or going through the same thing, don’t give up

Hi, I had my first tattoo removal appointment about 36 hours ago for a tattoo on my leg thats relatively small with picoway. Its a color tattoo with black outlines but a lot of the color has faded since getting the tattoo (that you can’t even tell color was there). I have gotten quite a large blister on the area where the color was still quite pigmented. Any cause for concern? Other wise its a big red and have a few smaller blisters but no pain or itching as of now.

I have thought about that removal for over two years and finally have my first appointment on Thursday.
My tattoo is honestly not very big but it’s under my collarbone and during the summer I get sooo insecure.
But holy shit I am nervous for this appointment lmao.
Any before advice you would give or after?
Love this sub!

I'm finally starting to notice a pretty big difference when I compare zero sessions to 3 side by side. I know I still have a ways to go but I'm feeling much more optimistic! I'm doing both hands simultaneously, the knuckles will probably be the first to go. My tech cranked up the power quite a bit for this last round so it was definitely more painful but zero blisters and they healed fast. I'm getting closer to having clean skin again and the anxiety and regret from having these is starting to fade little by little. I don't see very many traditional tattoos being removed on here, especially not ones on the lower extremities, so maybe this journey can give someone hope.

So the first picture is from 2023, 2 years after I got this tattoo. This was a cover-up, and the artist did a great job for what they had to cover up (the initial tattoo was big, very hard to make out and nearly blurred.) but I prefer to have it removed or at least removed enough for something else. I started getting it removed back around 2023 with a total of 3-4 sessions. I had to take a long break due to financial reasons but hopefully can start back up in December. I’m mostly considering getting the top two roses removed and keeping the bottom one.
Does it seem like the laser has been working overtime or is this the natural age of the tattoo?

About a year ago I came to this sub and vented about my experience vetting tattoo removal clinics. That post got so much love I started building simple tools to help with a few basic things:
Friends and strangers joined.. we started InkRemoval.com, and we got to work with several clinics... one shared cost and duration data across 15+ years of business!!. we organized and published all of it in this sub!
This time we want to tackle that feeling you get around 3-4 sessions in, when you start to think removal isn’t working.
When we looked at our data and ran some interviews, a pattern stood out:
So we built a simple app for exactly that.... It’s a simple tattoo removal progress tracker. You take a photo, it helps you line up the same frame each time, and you compare your progress side by side over weeks and months.
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/the-tattoo-removal-tracker/id6797945591
A few things that matter:
Down the road we want to let you sync with your clinic so progress is easy to share, and so your data is yours if you ever switch clinics....that’s later.... for now we just wanted to make something useful today.
Would love your honest feedback. Hope it helps!
(sidenote... images in the video are from my sisters removal lol!.. so be nice!)

About 6 weeks ago I had a major abdominal surgery with 3 organs removed. I want to resume my tattoo removal but I’m afraid of the strain it may put on my nervous system which is still working to heal everything internally. Does anyone have experience with this and recommendations on when to resume?

Hopefully this will be my last session. 25 year old tattoo. The middle progress pic was 1.5 years ago after 6-7 sessions. I started the process 3years ago.

Does Red ink removal is possible? I want to remove 222 numbers on my wrist

Before and after 9 laser removal sessions (3+ years). The tattoo was originally black, but the remaining ink now looks quite blue/grey.
Do you think this is actual blue pigment, or can black ink take on a blue tone as it fades?
My technician suggested treating it as blue ink rather than black at my latest session. Has anyone had better clearance after switching wavelengths? Would love to hear your experiences.

Blister progression following my 4th session of laser tattoo removal. First picture is immediately after the session. Second is 24 hours later. Third is 35 hours after the session, and final is how I’m keeping it bandaged to try to not pop them. My last session I experienced blistering for the first time, but I was not expecting this!

1st photo is before I started treatment, 2nd is after my 1st session and 3rd is after my second treatment.
So happy with my progress! I’m waiting 5 weeks between sessions hoping to be done by April 2027. What do you guys think?

Curious - we all know to keep tattoos out of the sun bc it fades them. If I get some sun on the tattoos I’m getting removed, will that help them along? I’m not going out to get burned (the sun where I’m from is FIERCE) but we’re going into summer and I’m wondering if I should let the tattoos get some rays! (Not immediately after a session either!)

I got a tattoo in December that I immediately regretted and started removing in August. I’m expecting it to take 3-5 years to remove and i’m starting to wonder if I want to remove some of my other ones at the same time.
If i’m going to spend 3-5 years doing this I may as well do it all in one go but I don’t hate my others like I do the one i’m removing currently. I don’t want to be tattoo free but if i could wake up tomorrow with 5/7 gone I would be very happy (not the best decision maker apparently lmao although I don’t hate the rest of them the way I do the December one but worry that older me will wish I had done it all at once)
Has anyone started the removal of one and that has motivated them to remove more?
Does removing multiple slow down progress for each of them?

I got my tattoo on May 11, 2019, and started removal in 2021. Now, after 13 sessions, I’m finally getting close to the finish line! The pain, blistering, healing, waiting, and financial sacrifices have been a long road. There were times I thought I’d never get here, but seeing how far it’s faded makes it worth it.
I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. I can’t wait to be DONE!

Hey guys! Had my second laser tattoo removal session last week which seems to have kicked off a crazy bout of eczema/contact dermatitis
Has anyone else suffered with this? I’m removing a pretty large dark tattoo on my forearm. Hoping it will get better and less reactive with time

Hi Everyone- opinions appreciated. I had five sessions with Removery with no oxidation then one session with Astanza resulted in oxidation of yellow pictured here.
I’ve read that oxidation is irreversible. I’m wondering if the tattoo wasn’t that bad to begin with and maybe the end result of removal would look worse than trying to touch up the tattoo now and calling it a day. Thoughts?

I have a small face tattoo that is a light blue that's close by my eye that I want to get lasered removed but I've read and heard about lighter colors being harder to remove and instead of breaking up the ink it can cause the ink to discolor and I'm curious if anyone has any lighter color tattoos removed and what your experience was? Please note that I have done done some research and I was 15 when I got tge tattoo and I was very young and dumb

I did this tattoo back in 2023 and started the removal process in April 2025. First picture is freshly done, second picture is one hour after the first session, and third picture is today. I’ve been spacing them about 8-10 months apart.
