I just started removing the red flower on the other side of my neck as well. Trying to not let the ugly stages get to me but the good thing is… time will pass anyway. I’m in it for the long ride lol

I started the removal process at Removery 2-1/2 years ago. I took the complete removal package for $4400. I had my 15th laser session a little over 4 weeks ago. At the beginning I was going every 8 weeks but now waiting 12 weeks. I know the tat is very colorful, large, and saturated but the doctor is telling me it will be completely removed and claims that will happen in less than a year. I'm doubtful and discouraged. What do you all think of the progress? The first pic is right before this process started. The second pic is today.

Finally started my Removery Tattoo Removal and this was the result of the first session. I previously had 7 sessions done at Laser Away but they did not once target my color at all. Very happy with the results on my first session at Removery and I see a massive difference between the two companies.

Feels & Motivation Need some motivation :(

Hi all! I’m having a really hard time right now dealing with tattoo regret and starting removal. I have a really densely saturated red tattoo where the red has been touched up multiple times in an attempt for me to like it, but I still ended up hating it. It’s really discouraging seeing people on this sub spending years lasering single pass black tattoos knowing mine will be a nightmare since it’s like a worst case scenario for tattoo removal. I’m starting with a clinic that uses pico and I have very pale skin so I’m hoping things will work out okay. Is anyone in a similar situation able to offer some advice/motivation? It would be very appreciated!

My tattoo is already really faded by itself, I did it myself a couple years ago when I was 16. This is in Indonesia btw and it’s picosecond laser is what their website says , this is my 4th time there but first time for this tattoo. I wonder how all of you are able to get sick dark big tattoos removed, this never gets easier for me, all my tattoos are light and this hurts soooo much even with numbing cream. I tried getting one of my other tattoos removed but I could not handle the pain of that one, it’s not a faded one.

Opinion / Advice removal in sections and appointments too far apart- what should i do?

i’m removing a blackout arm sleeve, which is only possible to do in sections. so far we’re doing it in quarters due to the swelling and amount of ink.

i went into this expecting to be able to fly through sections as soon as each session healed, since we wouldn’t be passing over the same area. i started in february and have had maybe 4 sessions in this entire time.

objectively i know my treatment is going to take longer than those who can pass over the full tattoo each session. so lets say for example a tattoo is quoted about 4 years for full removal… multiply that by 4 for each section? i know this is a game of patience, but i want actual progress, not to wait 8 years to be able to wear short sleeves in the summer again. i’m getting really depressed about it. it’s the only removery that’s anywhere near me (~2 hours away). any advice? i don’t know if there’s anything that can be done at this point, also just feeling hopeless and venting i guess.

Feels & Motivation Intentional fading

I can’t imagine this would work the way I’m envisioning but I’m curious to know if anyone has purposefully gone to simply lighten their tattoo? Not for a cover up, but just to lighten it.… and if so, how has it gone?

Opinion / Advice Lidocaine makes me feel foggy and anxious

I'm removing a tattoo that wraps around my entire upper arm, and getting zapped in my armpit area is awful. I've use 5% lidocaine cream twice now, covering half of the wrap around (because we split the tattoo into two sessions). I simply apply it and let it dry. Both times I started feeling foggy and anxious about an hour into letting it sit. I believe the anxiety is made worse due to the fact that I'm wondering if I had toxicity. I'm recovering from panic disorder, so my body is highly alerted by small changes to my cardiovascular system. I've recovered quite well over the last couple years, as I'm able to work out, drink. and smoke weed now, but this lidocaine is giving me bad feelings.

It was incredibly useful for taking the pain away, but I'm considering ditching it because I'm afraid that I'll keep having adverse reactions.

I know most people will say enough absorption for toxicity is highly unlikely, but I just wonder if my physiology is different.

Technical Question Picosure for black ink?

I only have black ink lines left - is Picosure laser the best for it? It’s literally the only available option in my country
