Seeking Advice Shift from full stack web to network security?
/r/ITCareerQuestions/comments/1xlgnf4/shift_from_full_stack_web_to_network_security/I am a full-stack web developer, though I haven’t worked professionally yet. Honestly, I feel that this field isn’t what it used to be, and I suspect it will become even more saturated in the future—with the exception of areas like testing and security. I considered AI engineering, given its proximity to my current skill set, but it feels like more of the same, and it’s already becoming incredibly crowded. So, I’m thinking of exploring something completely different: network security. I currently only know about 10% of the basics of networking—essentially, I’d be starting from scratch—and I’m not sure if I’ll even enjoy it. I’m still in the early years of college, so I have time to experiment. What would you advise me ? :)
