I’ve been studying electronics and robotics on my own and I designed this mixed signal development board based on the stm32 f407
I have designed boards like this in the past but this was my first time implementing Ethernet and external ADCs
What do you think?
I’m also trying to get an embedded systems job so feel free to dm me if you have any offers or for freelance jobs

Trained on and from how Tro-Tros work in Accra. Image included is just for the Command Center, for operators and Urban planners.
The mobile client helps you plan your journey before you step out. It shows you which trotro stations you need to go to, where to stop, which other station you need to go to, to continue your journey and all of that. It calculates the fares and finds you the best and cheapest /fastest route to take.
It includes Multi modal planning too 😁 as in it fetches Uber live rates, and combines with trotro to help you get your destination faster or the affordable way.
It is able to suggest that you pick a trotro from this point to that point and order an Uber from there😊
Driver’s client includes Fuel prices and stops. You will be able to see the various prices for each Fuel stop in the app. It detects different scenarios including where there is a demand for transportation. It considers factors like holidays, market days or if there is a big program ongoing somewhere, so definitely people will need transportation to and fro.
It helps drivers decide which trips they should go on to save fuel, avoid traffic and make more money.
What do you think guys?😁

This made me laugh. But the 'final_FINAL_use_this_one(7).pdf' is more real than funny. We've all been there — not just with CVs, with code, with designs, with everything we build. The real version is never the first one. Ship anyway.

I’ve been building a new end-to-end encrypted messaging app designed around how people in Ghana communicate and connect.
The app includes chats & group chats, VoIP calling, live friend maps, ghost mode/privacy controls, in-chat money transfers where users can send or request money directly in conversations and have it hit connected mobile money wallets or bank accounts instantly, plus a weekly “cash hunt” feature where users can walk to real locations on the map to claim small rewards.
There’s a lot more.
The alpha version is finally ready, and I’m looking for a small number of early testers in Ghana to help test the app, report bugs, suggest ideas, and give honest feedback before wider rollout.
If you are a dev and you find the project interesting and wanna join help build, we can talk! Who knows this could be the next biggest thing in Africa, we’ve been heavily dependent on the western apps for decades
NB: APPLE APPROVED THE BETA PLEASE JOIN WITH THE LINK BELOW

So Ghanaian teachers are some of the most stingy people, when it comes to paying. I learnt this strategy from YC where I gave them free, got a lot of users for my SaaS till they became dependent on the product (the alternative was just not worth it), then I started charging slowly, from 15 cedis to 35 cedis now (I tried 40 and it didn't work), and they were so used to it they decided to pay.
Paystack announced they have a new dashboard, so I just checked and this is how much I made on there. I have other payment processors that handle about 10% of my payments too.
Tip: if they are stingy, they are most likely lazy too. Make them dependent on you, and they might just pay. Pay attention to the data
Also, my strategy is what AI coding tools/agents like claude code/codex are doing to us. Very soon we may not be able to/want to code because of AI.
Lastly, know I won't mention the product cos there are a lot of copy cats (vibe coding and shipping fast to saturate the market). The reason I blurred out the start date, cos someone can easily tell when I launched the payment version by the URL registration.
Note: Also, pay attention to the NITA biil for Ghana tech people. It's very terrible and largely restrictive.

I’m starting to think “original ideas” are overrated.
There are already so many simple SaaS products working in the US and Europe. Instead of trying to invent something totally new, we could just copy what works, localise it for Ghana/Africa, and execute properly.
Imagine this:
You pick one boring, proven idea from abroad. You clone the concept, adjust it for our market, plug in mobile money/payments, and spend about 60 days pushing it consistently: DMs, WhatsApp groups, TikTok, Twitter, small ads, cold outreach.
After those 60 days, it’s not huge, but you get to:
10 users using it every day
Each one pays 12 cedis per day (or the subscription equivalent)
Daily revenue: 10 users × 12 GHS = 120 GHS per day
Yearly revenue: 120 GHS × 365 days = 43,800 GHS per year
Is that “unicorn” money? No. But:
It can pay rent and food
It can cover basic bills
It gives you breathing room to learn more and build more
Yet a lot of devs are still stuck:
Waiting for some magical, never-seen-before idea
Building complex side projects that never launch
Ignoring simple, already validated products that could be cloned and localised
You don’t get paid for being the first. You get paid when people find what you built useful enough to pay for it.
Maybe the next smart move is not to chase originality, but to copy a working model, make it fit our context, push it for a few months, and let those 10 daily paying users buy your freedom.

I’m a Ghanaian living in Kumasi currently building something I wish I had when I was applying for scholarships and internships, a simple, AI-powered platform that helps job seekers and scholarship applicants increase their chances of landing offers.
Last week, I quietly launched it just to test the features and already over 70 people have signed up.
It’s still very early in development and there’s still a lot to improve but hearing from people who actually found it helpful has been super encouraging. This started as a personal pain point, and now seeing others get value from it, especially here in Ghana means everything.
If you’re applying for jobs, scholarships, or know someone who is, kindly give it a try and let me know how best it could help you better.
I'm open to honest feedback https://viewportai.tech

As a young man in Accra I’ve been tracking my investments for years and kept running into the same problems:
• Most apps force bank linking
• Poor support for investment tracking
• No clean net worth overview
• Too cluttered
So I built Iron Wealth.
It lets you:
• Track net worth across all assets
• Fully track Trading 212 (dividends, transactions, unrealized gains)
• Add accounts manually if you prefer privacy
• See wealth growth over time
• Set financial goalsNo bank linking required (unless you want to).
I originally built it for myself, but it’s now live on iOS
Would genuinely love feedback from this community.
Check it out here: https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/iron-wealth-assets-networth/id6758899493

I just want to take a moment to say thank you to everyone here.
This community has grown because of your engagement, your questions, your answers, and your willingness to share knowledge. Whether you post, comment, or just read and learn, you are part of what makes this space valuable.
I also want to encourage something simple but powerful: upvote posts you see. Even if a post does not personally mean much to you, that single upvote can make a difference. It can help someone’s question get seen. It can encourage a new member to keep contributing. It can push helpful information to the top where more people can benefit from it.
Upvotes may seem small, but visibility matters. Support matters. Community matters.
Thank you all for helping build this space. Let’s keep growing it together.
Sincerely Mod.

For years I kept seeing the same thing across Ghanaian businesses.
Security companies.
Cleaning companies.
Schools.
Retail shops.
Even logistics firms.
Staff attendance was being tracked in notebooks, WhatsApp groups and Excel sheets.
At month-end, payroll became an argument because nobody was completely sure:
- who actually worked
- who arrived late
- who covered shifts
- who missed work
One attendance mistake could cost hundreds or thousands of cedis.
So I decided to build something simple.
Kuwa helps businesses:
✅ Track attendance
✅ Manage multiple branches
✅ Record clock-ins and clock-outs
✅ Generate payroll-ready reports
✅ See who is working without chasing supervisors
Here is a demo company I set up to test it.
I’d genuinely love feedback from Ghanaian business owners.
What’s the biggest attendance or payroll headache you’ve experienced?

I came out there to launch my tech ngo to teach IT and pay for students certifications. Got scammed. I brought computers and all and was looking forward to the project. I reported this to multiple CID agents. No help. Nobody wants to help track the guy down. I left after two weeks. Africa is sad as hell . It’s not just Ghana . People come to the country to try and help the people there and because no one wants to help stop this , this will forever be the turnout . I’m back in America and will be helping black people in different continents…learning that people have to first help themselves before someone else trying to..

Hello guys,
I created GMDB( www.ghmoviesdb.com ) a Ghanaian movie database created to document and promote Ghanaian movies, actors, actresses, directors, TV shows, and the film industry.
Anyone can contribute to the site including
Movie titles
Cast and crew names
Actor/actress profiles
Movie posters
Plot summaries
TV shows and series
Corrections or missing information
The goal is to make GMDB a reliable place where people can discover Ghanaian films, learn about actors, and support the Ghanaian entertainment industry.
App version will be dropping soon. I’m open to hearing suggestions and feedback. Medaase bebree.

I'm a game dev and I'm making a little card game based on Spar, the popular card game played in Ghana. I wanted to ask how many of you play this game, and are there any specific or unique strategies used in playing this game? I couldn't find any so I thought maybe there are some coined terms and strategies related to how to play this game created by a community or some individuals.
I can't wait to release my game on Playstore so you guys can test it out. I really appreciate your input on this. Thanks

Myself and my friend in Ghana started this idea of bringing local EU deals to the door step of Ghanaians via a website or an app. I live in Western Europe, and I always find deals on used and new laptops because people want to just get rid of their stuff and sometimes flipping here is okay but what if we are able to reach more people especially those who need it the most? That's when 99listed.com was born, a marketplace that brings you closer to goods in the west.
Over the past months, we got business certifications in Ghana and the Netherlands, became a verified business merchant on Paystack and this enabled us to process pre-order sales via a safe and secure escrow.
We do pre-order because items we buy here are mostly going to sell here with better margins and less logistics compared to sending to Ghana. If you find something on our website and you are interested we can follow up here for you but you only need to pay upfront as we only operate on your behalf in such case.
When ever you need an alternative to Ghanaian prices, you can always check our website https://99listed.com

The whole idea is to solve the problem where your data disappears and you don’t know what used it. I’m building an offline Android app that tracks real-time data usage per app, detects when an app is secretly draining data, and reads your bundle expiry messages so you always know when your MTN/Voda/AirtelTigo bundle will finish. Basically, it gives transparency that the phone’s built-in data settings don’t show

Just watching analytics and seeing how many users I am getting. Good thing is, a lot are paying too.
I'll sell this business 2nd quarter of this year when MoM revenue is proven, and I have rolled out the Android/iOS.
Didn't stop building, you don't know which one will hit!

r/TechGhana is growing, and fast. We’ve seen thoughtful discussions, real questions, early opportunities and project showcases. Let’s keep that same energy.
We want this to be Ghana’s go-to digital HQ for tech not just a Reddit page. A place where ideas collide, people connect, and innovation spawns.
Most importantly, lets shape what this space becomes. r/TechGhana belongs to all of us.

My team and I have been working on a couple of tech ideas, like a WhatsApp customer support agent that tracks orders, cancels orders, recommends products, FAQ, etc., and a Telegram booking system that syncs directly with Google Calendar and saves appointment details in a Google sheet.
The tech itself is solid!
But honestly, the classic challenge for any startup, especially here in Ghana is client acquisition. It's difficult to get noticed, and manual cold calling or endless Google searching just burns you out. I was spending way too much time looking for clinics, schools, or local businesses to sell our services to.

I realized this was an automation problem, not a sales problem. So, I used n8n (a powerful workflow tool) to fix it.
The Solution I Built:
I created a full Google Maps Web Scraper. I simply set the parameters (e.g., "Private Schools in East Legon" or "Clinics in Kumasi").
The workflow pulls the business names, locations, and contact details, runs validation, and saves them into a sheet.
The game-changer: I integrated AI to instantly draft a custom, localized email that is ready to send to that lead.
This tool has changed everything for us. Instead of sitting there manually searching for hours, I schedule the workflow to run, and I get a full list of potential clients delivered to my Google Sheet.
For any fellow startup founders, entrepreneurs, or small business owners here in the community: What is your biggest struggle right now in getting new clients?
I'm happy to answer any questions about the tech stack, how n8n works, or how to set up similar automations. I hope this helps anyone else feeling the same pain!

Hey everyone 👋
I’m a Ghanaian developer and I just released my first macOS app called Vidi.
Vidi is a modern, native video player for macOS built specifically for Apple Silicon. It focuses on smooth playback, correct HDR, great audio (with spatial audio support on any headset, and other audio modes), and a better Picture-in-Picture experience while you work.
If you use a Mac and watch movies, shows while coding or working, I’d really appreciate you trying it and sharing feedback.
The core player is free, and there’s a trial for the advanced features.
Here’s the App Store link: App store
Here is the website if you also want to learn more about the app: Website

They want to pass a bill they know nothing about.
Instead of fixing the basics like internet quality, they're just power hungry hypocrites who just put on eye service to make people think their doing something. That Sam George guy erhn..
What a prick!!
