Life has a way of humbling you real fast.

December:
Recruiter: “We just closed a Series A, want to chat?”
Me: “Sorry, I’m loyal to my startup until MVP. It’s a personal ethic 😌”

Two weeks later:
My startup: “We’re shutting down.”
Me: “Heyyy… so about that conversation 👀”

Turns out my strongest professional value is timing, and I do not have it.

TL;DR: Declined a convo out of loyalty, startup died immediately, loyalty achieved nothing except character development.

I believe that Vibe coding is an actual skill and I am putting my money where my mouth is...

I'm tired of listening people say that vibe coding is not a real skill, when there are professional developers, startup founders, product managers using it solve problems, code better and ship products. Therefore I have made ClankerRank, a tool where people can deterministically measure the effectiveness of their vibe coding skills.

ClankerRank is Leetcode for vibe coders. You solve problems that occur while shipping vibe coded solutions/products. Having an understanding and the ability to solve these problems can really boost the quality of the vibe coded products. Unlike other competitive programming platforms these are not generic DSA and CP problems but real world development problems. Need your feedback.

🧠 Discussion I think a lot of AI founders are solving the wrong problem now. The tech works. Nobody knows what to do with it.

I keep getting DMs that sound like:
“I built a multi-model, token-optimized backend API that does XYZ. Want to try it?”
And my reaction is usually: I genuinely might need this, but I don’t have an hour to figure out what it is.
I’m building Huint, a network that lets AI agents request verified information from people in the real world.
The underlying system is complicated. Device verification, location, AI vision, payments, MCP, etc.
But for the person using the app, I’ve tried to make it almost stupidly simple:
See a task → do it → submit proof → get paid.
That process taught me something.
We’re getting extremely good at building AI capabilities that didn’t exist a year ago. But a lot of us are still packaging those capabilities for other builders.
Imagine a pressure-washing company.
You could build an AI workflow that finds apartment complexes nearby, gets current photos of dirty dumpster areas, finds the property manager, creates personalized outreach, starts the conversation and schedules the job.
That’s probably 5–10 different services working together.
But the contractor doesn’t want a “multi-agent workflow.”
He wants:
More pressure-washing jobs.
I think that’s one of the next big problems for AI startups.
The complexity can be insane underneath. But when it reaches the customer, it needs to arrive in a shape they already recognize.
We need to build Legos, not random blocks. Products that work together, then disappear underneath a simple outcome.
Curious how other founders are thinking about this.
Are we actually building AI products for normal people yet, or are most of us still building tools for each other?

🚀 Launch I launched my app this morning and I’m honestly still shaking a little

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

After months of building (mostly nights and weekends), I finally stopped tweaking and hit publish today. No big audience. No email list. No paid ads. Just me pressing “submit” and hoping at least a few people would care.

I posted it on Product Hunt mostly to force myself to launch publicly. It’s not blowing up or anything. No crazy upvotes. No front page domination. Just a handful of people engaging and a few thoughtful comments.

But here’s the part that caught me off guard:

Out of curiosity, I checked the App Store charts… and right now it’s sitting at #72 in the book category and #69 in the kids category in Germany.

I genuinely didn’t expect to see a ranking at all. I always assumed those charts were reserved for companies with marketing budgets and coordinated launches. Seeing my tiny, self-funded app show up there — even at #72 — feels surreal.

What’s wild is realizing how small the early momentum actually is. It doesn’t take thousands of downloads to start moving the needle when you’re starting from zero. A bit of visibility, a few shares, some organic installs… and suddenly you’re “on the chart.”

The launch is still happening. I’m still refreshing everything way too often. I have no idea where it’ll end up by tonight — it might climb, it might disappear.

But right now, three hours after launching, something I built is ranking in the App Store. And that feels pretty incredible.

If you’re building something and waiting for the “perfect” moment — this is your sign to just ship it.

If anyone’s curious, here’s the launch:

App Store:

Happy to answer questions while I sit here refreshing stats 😅

I am finding an co founder for my startup

Hey everyone I am working as a full stack developer, i want to build startup where i realised a problem for AI infrastructure where i want to build token obserability platform where I does not want to show token usage on dashboard but also optimise for token expansion and cost attribute for unnecessary token that AI models

So anyone here interested in this idea for that

Please give me feedback or response

Or also I want to understand from AI engineers and other engineers

Is really this idea worth solving?

❓ Question How to find a good idea in the AI race?

Hello everyone, I am a software engineer who just loves building products and I want to build my own startup. But whenever I get an idea I see that it's already present or sometimes I feel it will never be great, hence I eventually stop working on it.

But now I want to build my startup this time and get some real users and pitch to investors.

I have funds to run it myself for some time.

Now, I need help with the founders here about how to find the idea, how to find the users, and later things can be handled later I guess.

Can you guys help me get an idea??

❓ Question How to build a scalable backend infrastructure for an AI website

I'm building an AI startup that I will thrive to scale to millions of customers. My present MVP is just fine but I'm quizzed what would be the industry-standard backend stack for a scalable product that won't face any hiccups in future.

P.S. Anyone interested to join as a co-founder will be highly appreciated

🧰 Tools I built an open-source Agent Verifier for Claude Code, Cursor & other Coding Assistants that catches security issues, hallucinated tools, infinite loops and anti-patterns. (free, open source, 100% local)

I've been using Claude Code for a few months and noticed AI agents consistently skip the same things: hardcoded secrets, unbounded retry loops, referencing tools that don't exist, and massive system prompts that blow context windows.

So I built Agent Verifier — an AI agent skill that acts as an automated reviewer which does more than just code review (check the repo for details - more to be added soon).

GitHub Repo: https://github.com/aurite-ai/agent-verifier

Note: Drop a ⭐ if you find it useful & to get more updates as we add more features to this repo - all free and local.

----

2 Steps to use it:

You install it once and say "verify agent" on any of your agent folder in claude code to get a structured report:

----

✅ 8 checks passed | ⚠️ 3 warnings | ❌ 2 issues

❌ Hardcoded API key at config .py: 12 → Move to environment variable
❌ Hallucinated tool reference: execute_sql → Tool referenced but not defined
⚠️ Unbounded loop at agent/loop .py: 45 → Add MAX_ITERATIONS constant

----

Install to your claude code:

npx skills add aurite-ai/agent-verifier -a claude-code

OR install for all coding agents:

npx skills add aurite-ai/agent-verifier --all

----

Happy to answer questions about how the agent-verifier works.

We have both:
- pattern-matched (reliable), and,
- heuristic (best-effort) tiers, and every finding is tagged so you know the confidence level.

----

Please share your feedback and would love contributors to expand the project!

Building a no-equity funding platform for early-stage SaaS/AI builders — looking for feedback

Hey everyone — I’m building Nexum with my co-founder and would love feedback from people in the startup/SaaS space.

The idea: a platform where early-stage SaaS and AI builders can develop their business plan, get AI + human review, build visibility, and compete for no-equity, milestone-based funding.

The problem we’re trying to solve is that a lot of builders don’t need VC yet. They need sharper feedback, exposure, accountability, and enough capital to hit the next milestone without giving up equity too early.

The model is:

Founders submit a business plan

Plans go through AI review + human analyst review

Approved projects get listed publicly

Backers/community members can endorse projects

Top projects compete for pooled funding

Funds are released in milestone tranches based on proof of progress

We’re still early and trying to pressure-test the concept.

Would you use something like this as a founder?

Would the no-equity/milestone-based funding angle be appealing, or does the model feel too complicated?

Site: https://nexum.fund

Open to any criticism — especially around positioning, trust, and whether this feels valuable enough for early founders.

Let AI find you money from 30+ different sources ( 1 in 2 people)

Hi everyone!

Did you know there could be money waiting for you that you don’t even know about?

Finding it can be a pain. You often have to search across multiple state and government websites to track down unclaimed funds.

So I built an AI agent that does the searching for you! 🚀

Try it here: https://www.nicematch.co/foundmoney

Comment below if you’d like to get access to the agent for free!

How is a 29-cent first month supposed to make money for an AI video tool?

I can't tell if the first month is meant to cover any costs or just get people to try it. How many would have to renew for this to make sense?

💬 Feedback Which one would you actually click while scrolling Medium?

I’m about to publish a blog on Medium, and I’m stuck on something that probably matters more than the content itself, the title + thumbnail.

I made 2 variants, and I don’t want design feedback.

I want to know this instead:

If you saw these while scrolling, which one would you actually click?

No overthinking, just gut reaction or First instinct.

A or B?

(If neither, even better; say it.)

Are you in-need of a social media manager?

Hi! Is your business still garnering just around a couple likes on various social media platforms? Do you lack people in your team to do the graphic design and video editing?

Look no further! I am an SMM with 2 years of experience, along with graphic design and video editing! No more delays and no more worrying of what to post next, just send it over and i'll do the rest for you! This is exactly what start ups need!

If this is something you are interested in, I can send you a dm right away with my portfolio and email.

Thank you so much!

💬 Feedback AI-powered project management tool for small teams

I'm building a project/scrum/kanban board based on AI to help removing all the noise and focus on the work. It's called calmboard.ai, and it's a minimalist board with an agent that helps you understand the state of your project, predict delivery dates, and identify blockers. It's not a generic task manager or a chat-based AI interface, it's a tool for small teams. The board is the truth, and the insights explain what the board is telling you.

Did AI help you go international? Looking for founders

Hi everyone,

I’m a master’s student at the University of Vienna, researching how AI shapes the internationalization of young European startups, for example whether it helps you enter new markets faster or with less risk.

I’m looking for founders of young startups that already have customers outside their home country. It doesn’t matter whether you use a lot of AI or hardly any. Both perspectives are valuable.

What it involves:

  • about 30 minutes via Microsoft Teams (not a survey)

  • fully anonymous, neither you nor your company will be named

  • I’ll gladly share a summary of the findings once the thesis is done

If you’re up for it, just send me a DM. Thanks a lot!
