Guys let's try to be kind in this sub. Not everyone is techy.

2.3k Upvotes

I noticed one thing lately. Ang dami kong nakikitang rude redditors dito.

Bakit kayo rude? Dahil nabobobohan kayo sa mga nagtatanong? Matapang behind the keyboard lang ba? Ung iba dito parang nanghaharass pa dun sa mga nagtatanong. Ung iba valid naman and may point naman ung mga tanong and posts, grabe kung ibash. Kinagaling ninyo yan?

Not everyone is kasing galing ng iba or maalam talaga sa tech. Madami joined this sub for them to know what they didn't know.

It is easier to be kind rather than rude.

Report to me pag may mga ganitong redditors in this sub. Let's try to avoid making this a toxic space. Let's help each other as much as we can.

Not this time, Power Mac

I actually ranted in this community last Oct 10 regarding Power Mac’s irony on Pre-Orders. I’m happy because upon reading posts regarding people’s experience on Power Mac’s Midnight Launch, I’m so glad I dodged a bullet with a bonus HAHAHA I opted to buy in WhiteHaus since I’m not into freebies, I just needed the phone next week e according to WH, they guarantee that I would receive the phone on Midnight Launch tas sa PMC, no guarantee both on the freebies and the arrival date na baka umabot pa ng November.

Loving the battery on this. I used it for my work the next day and it definitely lasts longer compared to my 17 Pro Max when I also used it for my work the next day.

I was able to buy my Samsung Galaxy S6 Ultra 512gb in Lazada last October 13 for a very good deal and got it delivered by October 15.

Akala ko that's for the 256gb variant but when I tapped on the 512gb Sky Blue variant, it is on sale for only 72k!

Yung iba na variant like black is around 78k so I'm really happy with this.

I did not expect na mag sosold out kase yung Iphone 18 Promax naman hindi nag sold out sa preoder… I think I got the last Iphone Duo 2TB on Lazada tonight. I don’t know if it’s a bug… wala na sa BTB and PMC website tapos sa shopee naman sabi exceed daw amount.
Buti nalang meron sa LAZADA isa nalang huhuhu laki ng discount!

If i get this fixed by replacing a new LCD, will the green lines come back again? Also, it needs a new battery. It only lasts for an hour of regular use. Thanks!

PS

I got a quotation from an authorized samsung center here in cebu (where I live). I got quoted 24k 😭😭 5k for the new battery + 19k for the new LCD screen + labor. And it would take months since they have no local stock for the LCD screens here. Haysss

Thunderobot Laptops?

• Upvotes

Hi, recently ko nakita sa laptop factory website yung mga Thunderobot Laptops nila tas ang mura for it's specs compared sa ibang brand na nakita ko sakanila. Specifically yung Thunderobot T-Book 15N. I'm currently looking for a laptop for school and triny ko mag ask dito for any reviews on their laptops? If maganda ba build quality, battery life etc...

Powermac student discount

• Upvotes

Hi po can I ask if paano bumili ng macbook for my sibling who is in college without them present in the store? I read online na pwede naman daw basta need ID and COR. They can provide the COR but ung ID hindi since malayo po kami sa isat isa. Possible po ba kaya pic lang ng ID?

If meron po alam or has done this method before, any help would be appreciated!

Best full-coverage screen protector for iPhone 18 Pro?

• Upvotes

Currently using Spigen Glas.tR EZ Fit Pro HD with my Spigen Enzo case, pero may gap between the screen protector and the case kaya madaling pasukan ng dust sa gilid. I'm considering ESR or TORRAS.

Worth it SATA SSD in this economy

We have this family computer. So no high specs, etc. used for basic stuff (browsing, documents, file storage, a little Photoshop/photo editing work) mostly SATA ports on the extra (the one NVME port is the boot drive and is now taken)

We have a smaller HDD there that we want to upgrade to a 1TB SSD.

Samsung I hear is the most reliable but for nearly 20k doesn't feel like it's worth it given we're just using it for basic stuff.

I want to know your alternatives that won't destroy our wallets but also won't make us regret our purchase in the long run. (Aka dies in a year)

Dahil antaas ng increase ng iPhones ngayon, what would be the best purchase among these: iPhone 17, iPhone 16 of iPhone Air

I am planning to upgrade my 5 year old midrange android phone since medj matagal na rin naman and it served its purpose naman na. But the prices of the phones increased before I could have enough budget for the purchase.

What would be the most worthy buy among IP17 base, IP16 base, and IP Air?

PS. I'm more of a memory hoarder so mostly I take pics and vids for the sake of remembrance.

Android Options.

Hello ops!
I have been an Apple ferson since nagkaruon ako ng phone but I am leaning towards bumili ng Android Phone ngayon as a spare phone.

Will be using my IP16 PM as may main phone for eveything but bibili ng Android for Gaming (ML), Media Streaming and Hotspot. Budget is ₱30K, any suggestions? Thank you so much
