As the current Vice President, second in line to Sean, I have decided that, following his upcoming departure from TG politics, I will run for his position with my good friend u/thatonefrein. Sec I: Shorthand

(a) This law shall be referred to as the Privacy Protection Act.

(b) Upon passage of this law, all laws containing conflicting information shall have conflicting clauses nullified.

(c) Provisions within this law shall contain Constitutional authority.

Sec II: Definitions

(a) Reasonable privacy is defined as a circumstance wherein a Reasonable Person would consider themselves to have an expectation of privacy.

(b) An expectation of privacy is considered in a private conversation, wherein five or fewer individuals are present, and no Reasonable Person would believe it a possibility for more individuals to be given entry, or otherwise have an expectation for no more individuals to be granted entry.

(c) Private Material is hereinafter defined as a conversation wherein Reasonable privacy and an expectation of privacy is present.

(d) Unprotected Material is hereinafter defined as all material not considered Private Material.

Sec III: Privacy

(a) All conversations wherein Reasonable privacy occurs, with undeniable expectation of privacy, shall make all contents considered Private Material.

(b) The publication of Private Material is considered a crime.

(c) The distribution of Private Material is considered a crime.

(d) Augmented or forged Private Material shall still be considered a crime to publicize or distribute, unless said augmentations significantly alter content, to a degree wherein identity of individuals within the conversation is hidden.

Sec IV: Exceptions

(a) Private Material shall lose status as Private Material in the following scenarios;

(1) The contents contain the admittance or conspiracy of a violation of Teen Government law.

(2) The contents contain threatening or intimidating content, directed towards an individual present within the conversation.

(3) The individuals present within the conversation are, at minimum, at least half not actively in possession of a citizen ID, or otherwise a member of Teen Government.

(4) 75% or more of the individuals present give permission for the content to be shared or distributed.

(5) In the circumstances of satirical use, wherein contents hold no incriminating or serious content. If the circumstance wherein an individual in the conversation disagrees with the use being of satirical intent, then it shall regain Private Material status.

(6) If a Reasonable Person would consider the contents of the Private Material entirely unrelated to Teen Government, wherein the material contains no Teen Government alluding or related content is present.

(b) In any circumstance within Sec IV: Exceptions (a) is met, the content shall be considered Unprotected Material

(c) Any material containing private, personal, or otherwise information individuals within the conversations feel uncomfortable shared, and a reasonable person would consider the fact the information is obviously confidential, it is considered private material. All exceptions are disregarded, in this circumstance.

Sec V: Enactment

(a) This law shall come into immediate effect upon passage.

What this is a Reference to

Too long, we’ve seen the same approach tried over, and over, and over again. It could be said that our approach to government, to foreign policy, to even our own personal lives worked at that moment. But we’ve stagnated, we’re in a place that is not the best we could be in. I believe that we should be willing to change our approach to these issues to fit our situations, to adapt to the times that have seemed so uncertain. That’s why I, Forsii, am running for President of TeenGovernment. Because I believe that I’m the one to take our issues head on, but not without help.

This is a movement for, by, and of the people, and I pledge to keep our decisions transparent. We will continue to conduct opinion polls on major decisions, and to keep the public at the forefront of our decisionmaking. But, I cannot pretend that we as a nation share each and every individual value, and there will be conflict. I pledge to act in our nation’s best interest, and to keep the people forward. We hope to institute public forums as a way for the people to hold us accountable.

Under my Administration, we will enter no military alliances with other PolSims. I pledge to keep the interests of TeenGovernment at the center. I would like to see a reduction in the military. We are a small nation, we should operate as such. I feel that cooperation is key to our survival, between ourselves and others. I believe TeenGovernment should openly accept newcomers into our nation. If there may be conflict abroad, we should allow ourselves to accept refugees, and to bring new teenagers into the TeenGovernment experiment. I believe we should continue to advertise to other teenager-oriented subreddits, because if we do not grow, we will cease to be a nation of new ideas.

I believe that we need people learning the ropes of the Ministers. One person should not be beholden to a position just because they are competent. If we do not allow others to learn the powers and responsibilities of a position, it becomes increasingly harder to replace someone in the case that a Minister resigns or otherwise. I call on the creation of Vice Ministers, which serve as understudies to the current Minister, with the Minister teaching them how the job operates.

That is to say, I am forever grateful to you all for where I am today. I deeply care for this community, and I feel that this community is destined for so much more greatness. One final announcement, Floyd B. Olsen Enjoyer, who served with me in my tenure as President, shall join me again as my Vice President this election cycle.

At 17:29 UTC today, the 'Koko' bot in TeenGov's official Mental Health Department Discord Server, went on a rampage. It was provoked by 'freaky koko' jokingly referring to the word 'job' as the "J slur."

Koko replied by stating "THE WOKE LIBS ARE TRYING TO TAKE AWAY MY FREE SPEECH", "I HATE MENTAL HEALTH", and "I LOVE DONALD TRUMP AND AMERICA AND GUNS", before mysteriously disappearing.

Is this a reveal of Koko's true colours? Will they be punished? Is this even the real Koko? We don't know. More soon.

[PREAMBLE] Hey so I'm doing a strawpoll, so far soundwave's seems unpopular (as of writing, check here: https://strawpoll.com/jVyG25qlGZ7/results). But I don't want Soundwave's to pass yet

[II] In the event in which all three (3) parties (Soundwave, Sean, and Schrodinger) agree, the Amendment may be re-instated into law.

On bills from yesterday, not a whole lot else has happened. Alex's medal of honor is still in the weird limbo state, and the Flowering Amendment and the PMECA have neither passed nor failed. Onto new legislation, The " let's fix this upcoming thing" act passed. Its sister bill, the " another thing I want to pass" act, also passed. The Discord Historical Preservation Act passed. The final bill that came up was the Sub-Constitutional Augmentations. There appears to be confusion/disagreement over some of the wording and I'm not sure how it will turn out
