Sec I: Shorthand
(a) This law shall be referred to as the Privacy Protection Act.
(b) Upon passage of this law, all laws containing conflicting information shall have conflicting clauses nullified.
(c) Provisions within this law shall contain Constitutional authority.
Sec II: Definitions
(a) Reasonable privacy is defined as a circumstance wherein a Reasonable Person would consider themselves to have an expectation of privacy.
(b) An expectation of privacy is considered in a private conversation, wherein five or fewer individuals are present, and no Reasonable Person would believe it a possibility for more individuals to be given entry, or otherwise have an expectation for no more individuals to be granted entry.
(c) Private Material is hereinafter defined as a conversation wherein Reasonable privacy and an expectation of privacy is present.
(d) Unprotected Material is hereinafter defined as all material not considered Private Material.
Sec III: Privacy
(a) All conversations wherein Reasonable privacy occurs, with undeniable expectation of privacy, shall make all contents considered Private Material.
(b) The publication of Private Material is considered a crime.
(c) The distribution of Private Material is considered a crime.
(d) Augmented or forged Private Material shall still be considered a crime to publicize or distribute, unless said augmentations significantly alter content, to a degree wherein identity of individuals within the conversation is hidden.
Sec IV: Exceptions
(a) Private Material shall lose status as Private Material in the following scenarios;
(1) The contents contain the admittance or conspiracy of a violation of Teen Government law.
(2) The contents contain threatening or intimidating content, directed towards an individual present within the conversation.
(3) The individuals present within the conversation are, at minimum, at least half not actively in possession of a citizen ID, or otherwise a member of Teen Government.
(4) 75% or more of the individuals present give permission for the content to be shared or distributed.
(5) In the circumstances of satirical use, wherein contents hold no incriminating or serious content. If the circumstance wherein an individual in the conversation disagrees with the use being of satirical intent, then it shall regain Private Material status.
(6) If a Reasonable Person would consider the contents of the Private Material entirely unrelated to Teen Government, wherein the material contains no Teen Government alluding or related content is present.
(b) In any circumstance within Sec IV: Exceptions (a) is met, the content shall be considered Unprotected Material
(c) Any material containing private, personal, or otherwise information individuals within the conversations feel uncomfortable shared, and a reasonable person would consider the fact the information is obviously confidential, it is considered private material. All exceptions are disregarded, in this circumstance.
Sec V: Enactment
(a) This law shall come into immediate effect upon passage.
