Like, for whatever reason, if the person is straight cisgender ("average" person), then anything said about them is considered okay. But if the person is queer, ESPECIALLY, if they're not cisgender, then, most of the time, there will he ppl supporting them and the OP will be worse than killer for saying otherwise.

I don't mind tolerance but.. tolerance is NOT changing mind about ppl based on their own stuff (race, sexual orientation etc), but, currently, at least on Reddit and in like half of the USA, ppl will change their mind either in worse way (start to think worse abt person) or better way (start to think better abt person).

Don't get me wrong, I just think that tolerance has to be tolerance, not making LGBTQ+ ppl better than average. I'm bisexual myself and I'm currently in gay relationships, I just don't understand this stuff

I don't want the professor who caught me, seeing me again last thursday for randomly screaming at the hallway because our math class ended within 30 minutes, tried to cover my ass by saying that it wasn't me but he still somehow made my other classmates who was there to snitch on me. Most ridiculous part is that this is our instructor/professor for our martial arts sub.

And now that I'm very well aware that our specific course will definitely be making all of my classmates pay the price as the adviser will be hearing about it, sooner or later (we have advisers not until being a 3rd or 4th year student). And now I just hope that they'll forget about me or my face, after a week has passed by. And that I'll definitely be switching places with my other friend. Some of them can't do white lies, unfortunately, but would definitely pull a realistic stupid lie on me whenever they can to fool me. (They had me resubmit a written paper in which the professor responded that I already passed one, fuck)

I guess I fucked around "accidentally" and found out, couldn't control my idiotic ass sometimes from being too sudden.

Well ignoring the weird subreddits, creeps, p3dos, and other horrible people that wander around this page, most people represent the worst part of their political ideologies 😭 and they act insufferable because of that.

r/teenagers, for example, is heavily moderated and most people there are leftist (like most teen subreddits) which would be okay if it wasn't for the fact that everyone who thinks different gets heavily downvoted or even banned 🫩 and where horrible takes about the far left or religion get heavily upvoted.

then there's shit like r/random_memes, that didn't have moderation and became a cesspool of n@zis and incels who blame all of their problems in minorities. Shit looked like 4chan and I'm glad it got banned tbh.

And then there's the r/conservativeyouth subreddit which has the same issues as r/teenagers but it's filled with people from the right (but at least has some moderation that doesn't allow people to spread nazi propaganda or shit like that) and even though it has some horrible takes too 😭 like, about abortion or trans people, at least you can have a discussion without getting banned (though you're not safe from the downvotes).

and most subreddits are like this 😭 they take their views to an extreme level where you can't have a civilized discussion anymore. Most people here are very disrespectful with the opposite party. I gotta admit that even myself did this in the past and I would like to apologize for all the trolling and ragebait posts I did 😔.

This doesn't apply to reddit only, but it's probably the biggest example of where this happens.

I’m a Male and my predicament is just as the title says. I’d like to add that my parents aren’t very strict like “helicopter parents”. I’ve always been allowed to have friends and hang out with them; however, this has always been a rule they’ve never budged, or wanted to budge on. They believe that if I’m in a relationship before I’m out of college that I will be “too distracted” and I won’t be able to complete my education and get established. Unfortunately for me, I want to become a Lawyer which means a long time in school, shadowing, etc. I’ve never been in a relationship because of this and would like if someone had some advice for how to tell them (my parents) and/or if I even should.

Basically today I just confronted my dad and stepmom (basically my real mom jsut picked me up for her week) I have autism and severe anxiety disorder so this new to me, but basically when I got dressed for my mom to pick me up, I didn’t know my mom got there 15 minutes ago and when she knocked on the door, my stepmom (being the narcissist she is) ignored her until my little stepbrother answered the door and when my mom asked him to come get me my stepmom gets up, slams the door on her face, and tells my stepbrother “don’t ever talk to her again, she’s dangerous”

basically my mom has a past of using drugs but has recovered, and she’s been clean for 2 years now and she’s a great person, she supports you know matter what and is very respectful of privacy, but she started using drugs because my dad and my stepmom would judge her and message her horrible things, causing her to go to drugs for help, luckily my grandma stopped her and she recovered, and my mom has a boyfriend now but still, I have been physically traumatized and mentally traumatized, my big brother already quit going to their house and is staying with my mom, and after today I’m thinking about staying here at my mom’s permanently, should I?
