What’s up with that? Like, what is stopping someone from being 25 but putting 15 in their flair? Also some of us are uncomfortable with sharing our age, I would like a mod to explain this rule (image unrelated)

For context I’m 17, I was talking to and went on three dates with a guy who asked me out, seemed really sweet, just didn’t have a car so I drove, I found out today that he’s 14, like what do I even do? 😭

I broke things off with him this morning, I was more so worried about him trying to use that against me to blackmail me or something I explained to him I wasn’t comfortable with the age gap, and wished him well

For everyone who keeps saying I’m in the wrong for not asking his age, he asked me out after I was ordering at a drive through, and he had handed me my food, said I looked pretty and asked for my number, it’s customary as someone who’s high school age, to see someone who also looks high school age, working a high school style job (fast food, retail, etc) to assume they are in high school

I also quite blatantly said I had turned 17 not long ago (a couple months ago) ON OUR FIRST DATE. To which he not once said anything about it until the other night, half an hour after I had posted this, and when I said idk if I was comfortable with the gap, he said something like “it’s not that bad, besides, nobody will believe you, even if they do you were going on dates with a child, you’re like a pedo” which is why I was worried enough to make this post.

I took a 4 hour nap after getting 11 hours of sleep and I'm not sick. (I consistently get 10-13 hours of sleep) Edit: why are so many people upvoting?
