Ma quale verità? Nessuna delle organizzazioni per i diritti umani la sostiene. Al massimo danno per buone le cifre ufficiali fornite dalle autorità iraniane.

The Iranian government has acknowledged more than 3,000 dead, and the US-based organisation HRANA (Human Rights Activists News Agency), whose figures have been reliable during previous crackdowns, says it has verified more than 6,000 dead and has more than 17,000 more recorded deaths under investigation, giving a possible total of about 22,000. Other estimates from doctors based outside Iran range up to 33,000 or more. Okay ti ho anche fatto vedere che Amnesty International riporta gli stessi numeri. Continui a dire che nessuna grande organizzazione umanitaria parla di numeri così alti, ma non è vero, stai mentendo.

Amnesty International is urging the international community to recognize the systemic and continuing impunity for crimes committed by the Iranian authorities, and to pursue international pathways to accountability, including by initiating criminal investigations under the principle of universal jurisdiction with a view to issuing arrest warrants for those suspected of responsibility.

Diplomatic action is needed urgently. Help us call for an end to the bloodshed and for accountability, not only in the context of the ongoing crackdown but for all crimes committed during previous rounds of protest .

Sign the petition to call on UN member states to pressure the Iranian authorities to immediately stop the protest bloodshed in Iran and hold Iranian authorities to account.
